THE cheapest city for pub grub in Scotland has been revealed.
While Scots love nothing more than a hearty pub roast, the cost of living crisis has driven up prices across the UK.
Luckily, based on data from Alliance Online, the new map shows where you can still enjoy reasonably priced grub across Scotland, England and Wales - based on the average price of a meal for two.
The cheapest spot went to Swansea in Wales, where two people can dine for an average of £17.
This means the average price for one is £8.50, with many options being considerably cheaper.
The city has a thriving pub culture, with 135 watering holes to choose from.

In joint second were Gloucester, Kingston upon Hull and Coventry.
With an average price of £22 for two, singular punters can enjoy a meal for £11 or even less in these spots - placed in the south, north and Midlands respectively.
Particularly surprising is Gloucester's high position on the map - as its located in the notoriously posh county of Gloucestershire.
Next up on the list were Southend on Sea and Leeds - both boasting average pub prices of £24.

"Our data shows that you don't need to break the bank to enjoy a homecooked pub lunch and it's surprising to see the regions where locals can enjoy a pub meal at such a low price.
"While it's great to see so many places where more affordable meals are available, it's important to understand that many of our local pubs are under increasing operational and financial pressures so even if it's just a treat every once in a while, supporting your local goes a long way!"
