Fans of Celebrity Big Brother have expressed their discomfort upon realising the significant age gap between housemates Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa. The unlikely duo has formed a close bond since joining the famous house last week, with their relationship seemingly growing stronger by the day.
Other housemates, including Ella Rae Wise, have noted that they've distanced themselves from the rest of the group. As their bond intensifies, viewers are increasingly puzzled about the nature of their relationship, with some speculating it seems more romantic than platonic - despite JoJo having a girlfriend back in LA.
In recent days, Chris, 32, and JoJo, 21, seem inseparable, constantly touching, massaging, tickling, hugging, and kissing each other.
This behaviour has led some fans to question JoJo's commitment to her girlfriend Kath Ebbs, whom she's been dating since November. One observant fan on Twitter has highlighted the substantial age gap between Chris and JoJo - a difference of 11 years, reports the Mirror.
Chris first rose to fame in 2017 on Love Island, when he was 24-years-old. Concurrently, JoJo was at the peak of her Nickelodeon career.

Another fan jumped to their defense: "She's 21 and he's 32 for starters. Who cares how old you are at the peak of fame they've met at these ages and they are only friends."
Differing opinions surfaced as well, with someone stating: "Yeah you can be friends but you don't need to be on top of one another the entire time and literally all over one another. It's weird and not normal."
Amidst their stay in the house, JoJo and Chris have seen their friendship blossom, but some viewers suspect there's more than meets the eye. On a recent episode aired on a Monday night, the scene captured the Dance Moms alum, JoJo, 21, scribing a cryptic message onto Chris' palm — an action that will bring about consequences which are set to unfold in this evening's chapter of the ITV programme.
Their closeness was palpable throughout the show, with cameras catching moments of JoJo and Chris wrapped up in cuddles, and Chris tenderly patting JoJo's back.
During the episode on Monday night, JoJo decided to rest on the floor by Chris's side, where she proceeded to pen her mysterious note.
This fuelled fan theorie, as some proposed the message conveyed a heartfelt "I love you," while others guessed it might have been a hint to Chris about Ella's feelings towards him.

The departing housemate will become the third to be axed from Big Brother 2025. On Friday, we waved goodbye to former Conservative MP Michael Fabricant.
Following close behind him, Hollywood heavyweight Mickey Rourke was expelled from the house due to "instances of unacceptable behaviour".
