Concert announcement: Morgan Wallen set to play two shows at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium

Itâs time to raise your whiskey glass â country music star Morgan Wallen is coming to Edmonton to perform two shows at Commonwealth Stadium on Sept. 12-13.

On the heels of Wallenâs One Night At A Time becoming the highest-selling country tour in history, which played to over three million fans across 87 shows and 10 countries, Wallen has unveiled his coinciding 2025 Iâm The Problem Tour that will reach 10 cities and 19 stadium concerts over four months, according to Live Nation Entertainment.

Edmonton is the last tour stop, featuring only one other Canadian city when Wallen performs in Toronto at Rogers Centre Sept. 4-5.
Wallenâs tour will feature a rotating lineup of guests including Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett and Koe Etzel, along with up-and-coming artists Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Ella Langley and Anne Wilson.
Langley and Lambert will be featured in the Sept. 12 concert, and Langley and Brooks & Dunn will perform on Sept. 13.
âWe made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at A Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night,â said Wallen in a release.
âAs Iâve been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the Iâm The Problem Tour. See yâall there.â
Commonwealth Stadium has become a popular destination for many artists over the last few years.
In 2022, Garth Brooks returned to Edmonton and performed two shows, and Motley Crue and Def Leppard also put on a big performance. In 2023, Luke Combs, Metallica and Nickelback all performed at Commonwealth Stadium.

Metallica returned last year, and P!nk also put on a big show in August.

âThese exciting stadium tours and popular artists performing in our city play a vital role in fostering cultural identity, creating community and driving growth in Edmontonâs economy.â
Fans can sign up for the artist presale now until Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. MT. The artist presale will start on Jan. 30. Presale start times vary by market. The general on-sale tickets will be available on Jan. 31 at 10 a.m.
