Coronation Street Sue Cleaver 'got a bit carried away' in the 'early days'
The actress appeared on This Morning as she prepares to leave the ITV soap
Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver joined This Morning on Thursday (13th March) as she reflected on her time in Weatherfield as she's set to leave after 25 years.
Sue joined Coronation Street as Eileen Grimshaw in 2000, and announced her departure earlier this year so she can take on new projects.

As the ITV daytime show shared a collage of some of Eileen's finest moments on the streets - including her legendary feud with Gail Platt - Sue reflected as she joked: "She’s very violent isn’t she".
Like Sue, actress Helen Worth (Gail Platt) made the decision to leave Coronation Street after first appearing on the cobbles in 1974. After 50 years Helen decided it was a good time for her character to bid farewell to Weatherfield as she jetted off with her new husband Jesse Chadwick.
As one of the clips showed Eileen Grimshaw slapping her son Jason twice after revealing his engagement to Sarah Platt, Sue commented: "How the world has changed. In the early days when you slapped somebody, you used to do it.
"Now, you have stunt people in and it's all magic but we used to actually do it." She then recalled a scene with Simon Gregson and Craig Charles as she confessed: "I remember banging Steve McDonald and Craig's (Lloyd) head together, and there was an almighty bang."
She continued: "Honestly, I nearly killed them... I got carried away. Not big, don't try at home." As hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard laughed, Sue reflected on a time when she actually got injured during a stunt.
The actress shared: "Lesley, who had Alzheimer's, we had a stunt person there and we set it all up, and it was from underneath, not a good one. She got it wrong and that was me out cold on the floor. They sent me to hospital and used the sound for the clip."
Later in the interview, Sue was presented with a surprise video from on-screen son Ryan Thomas who is set to return to Coronation Street ahead of Eileen's exit.
He told press as he spoke about his presenting gig on 99 to Beat with his brother Adam: "I got the call from Sue saying would I come back for her exit storyline - that’s where my career started and I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for Coronation Street..."
Ryan went on: "That place will always have my respect and I’m very loyal to where I came from. They taught me everything I know, so I’m excited." However, he's already warned fans that his cameo will be very brief and he's "going to hopefully step onto the cobbles for five minutes."
As the video played, Ryan said: "Sue Cleaver, can you believe it? Jason and Eileen are going to be back together very soon where it all started on the cobbles. I'm excited to see you and the rest of the cast... The Grimshaw's are back baby. Put the kettle on, see you soon."
