Coronation Street fans 'work out' real reason Daisy walked out of baby scan
Coronation Street viewers are convinced they've worked out the real reason why Daisy Midgeley left her baby scan early and believe it's a clue to the paternity of her unborn child.
In last night's episode of Coronation Street, Daisy Midgeley abruptly left her baby scan as the pressure of the situation became too much.
Last year, Daisy discovered she was pregnant, but there was a twist when it was revealed that either Kit Green or Daniel Osbourne could be the father.

Despite undergoing a DNA test, Daisy has kept the results to herself. However, in a surprising turn of events, Daisy's stepmother Jenny Connor accidentally let slip to Daniel that he was the father.
On Monday, an ecstatic Daniel declared his love for Daisy, who was shocked by his belief that he was the father of her baby and his wish to get back together. He even shared the news with his family, reports Leicestershire Live.

Daisy, on the other hand, was thrown into a panic and chastised Jenny for interfering, insisting that Kit is the real biological father, not Daniel. She vowed to rectify the misunderstanding.
Before Daisy could set things straight with Daniel, he paid a visit to Jenny and admitted his awareness of their debts to Carla Connor. He also disclosed his intention to use Bertie's trust fund to purchase the pub and establish a happy family.
A delighted Jenny then encouraged Daisy to keep up the pretence and allow Daniel to think he is the father to help settle their debts. Feeling remorseful, Daisy agreed to play along with the scheme.

In Wednesday's episode, Daisy attended her 12-week scan but, overwhelmed by the circumstances, she hastily exited the appointment, with Daniel following closely behind.
Coronation Street fans are abuzz with theories that neither Daniel nor Kit will be revealed as the father of Daisy's baby, following her sudden departure from a scan.

One fan predicted on Twitter: "My verdict for who the father is of daisy's kid on #Corrie - I bet it's NEITHER Kit or Daniel as it says that she runs out of the appointment, and I reckon she knows that she is more than 12 weeks."
Other fans are hopeful of a different plot twist, highlighting their suspicions on social media with comments like: "I'm still hoping ryan is the father of daisy's baby... #corrie" and "wouldn't surprise me if Daisy's baby turns out to be Ryan's #Corrie."

Alison Hammond appeared visibly emotional on Friday's (28 February) episode of This Morning, as she gave a tearful goodbye to outgoing editor of the ITV daytime show, Martin Frizell.
