Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon says 'thank you' to son after baby disbelief
The Bethany Platt actress is now a proud mum to two children
Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has said a sweet 'thank you' to her son as she was left in disbelief over how time is flying by since welcoming him and her second child into the world.
The actress, who is best known for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, announced earlier in January that she and her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson had welcomed their second child together, after they became first-time parents to their son, Sonny, back in 2023.
After confirming last summer that Sonny was set to be a big brother, they then announced shortly after the new year began that their baby girl, Nancy, had made her entrance into the world safe and sound on January 11.
They shared the first sweet picture of the newborn, who could be seen in a fleece-lined baby chair in a floral baby grow with 'Little Sister' embroidered on the front. "Our teeny angel girl is here [star emojis] 11/1/25," the Blackpool-born star confirmed alongside the post.
Now though, Lucy has been marking her first-born turning two. The evening before his special day on Thursday (January 30) she shared a picture of when he was born as she lay in her hospital bed with him on his chest. "And he's two in the morning [broken heart emoji and crying face emoji]."
(Image: Lucy Fallon Instagram)She then took to Instagram with a video featuring clips of Sonny as she watched him grow over the past two years and said in view of her fans and followers: "2!!!! where did that go. Thank you for being everything we could’ve ever wished for. we are SO lucky you’re ours."
Corrie castmate Sally Ann Matthews said in response: "Gorgeous boy," while former Corrie co-star Ellie Leach was also quick to respond to the post, writing: "happy 2nd birthday angel boy." Emmerdale actor Danny Miller also replied with a string of red heart emojis, while her followers also flooded the comments section with birthday wished for the toddler.
