Corrie fans say 'it looms' as they 'rumble' who helps Rob Donovan after 'clue'
A new trailer from the ITV soap has confirmed Rob's shock return to the Street with a Carla Connor and DS Lisa Swain confrontation
Coronation Street fans think they have already rumbled who has helped Ron Donovan return to the cobbles as a shocking armed siege was revealed.
A new trailer from the ITV soap, which was released on Friday (February 28) and teases what's to come on the cobbles in March, has confirmed Rob's shock return to the Street after he did a runner following a confrontation with his sister Carla Connor.

As fans know, Carla is recovering from her recent kidney transplant and being kidnapped by Rob after he only agreed to be a donor in order to escape prison where he's behind bars for killing Tina McIntyre back in 2014.
Rob came to Carla's rescue when it was revealed she'd need another kidney transplant after contracting sepsis, after he was approached by his son, Bobby Crawford. But earlier in February, fans were horrified when Carla was woken from her recovery by prison officer Mandy, who believed she was in a loving relationship with Rob, when really it was all for his own gain.
The drama eventually saw Rob use DS Lisa Swain to get to the abandoned office block where Mandy was waiting with a poorly Carla. He was shocked to find out about Mandy's pregnancy and realising she had been used, she left.

Rob attempted to follow suit. But Carla found the energy to push her brother down the stairs and a weakened Rob as a result of his surgery saw him fall over the balcony, with Lisa finding him at the bottom.
Now it's been revealed that he will return to Weatherfield to seek out his sister Carla and demand she helps him escape. As armed police surround the house, will Carla and Lisa escape? As a shot rings out, who is the latest victim of Robâs desperate bid to be a free man?

The trailer has, of course, got fans talking and its the location of Carla and Lisa's showdown with Rob that has sparked the most interest as it's No.1 Coronation Street, where Rob's former fiancée Tracy Barlow lives.
