Corrie star Will Mellor shares career news and admits job 'terrifies me'

Will Mellor, known for his role as the menacing Harvey Gaskell in Coronation Street, opened up about his future endeavours and what "terrifies" him during a TV appearance on Saturday morning.
The actor graced the set of James Martin's Saturday Morning, where he was joined by The Royle Family star Ralf Little.

Article continues belowThe duo, who previously starred together in the popular BBC sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, have since created their own podcast during the lockdown period and it's now been turned into a live show that's hitting venues across the UK.
While chatting with the acclaimed chef and host James Martin, they divulged some insights into their podcast, which they tout on social media as "just two guys having a couple of pints and a chat in a pub".

James delved into their origins in the cutthroat world of acting and how they've managed to forge their impressive careers, reports Plymouth Live.
Hailing from Greater Manchester, Will reminisced about his childhood as the youngest of five siblings with a burning desire to act. He shared: "It was always something I dreamt of doing for as long as I remember. I always wanted to be a performer."
He recounted how an acting agency once opened its doors to "street kids", offering opportunities to a diverse range of hopefuls. Will recalled his experience: "They liked what I did and I got in."

Will, who first caught the public eye in 1990 as Ben Rowlingson on Children's Ward, became a household name in Hollyoaks playing James "Jambo" Bolton. He has since showcased his acting prowess in an array of dramas including EastEnders and Broadchurch.
His recent portrayal of Lee Castleton in ITV's Mr Bates vs The Post Office brought the British Post Office scandal to viewers' attention, advocating for those wronged.

Despite his extensive career in showbiz, Will reveals that the unpredictable nature of his work can be daunting. In conversation with James, he confessed: "What I love about my job is something that terrifies me - the uncertainty of it. You never know what tomorrow is going to bring, you never know what the next job is going to be."
Will and Ralf are now preparing for more live shows following the success of their first podcast tour. Ralf stated: "Going out on tour again is very exciting. We had such a blast last time, can't wait to meet everyone again and see all your lovely faces."
Will also chimed in with anticipation for the interactive experience: "I loved the buzz of being on tour last time so can't wait to have loads of banter with everyone again."
