Planning for Jeff Bezos's wedding to Lauren Sánchez is well underway, with the billionaire couple are expected to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony this summer. The Bezos wedding will take place in Venice, Italy, attracting guests from the most elite of circles. Friends with entrepreneurs, royals, and celebrities, expect to see stars like Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Robert Pattinson in attendance.
Lauren Sánchezâs brother Paul Sánchez, has revealed the nuptials will be a spectacle fit for royalty in an interview with TMZ. âI think itâs gonna be like a Princess Di thing,â he shared, hopeful that the party will be, âjust huge and fun and just a blast.â Keeping tight-lipped on the specifics of Jeff Bezos' wedding, he added the guest list would be âstar-studdedâ, continuing, âWe donât have any details yet, like exactly where itâs gonna be or anything like that.
Lauren Sánchez kisses her fiancée and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos on the cheek in a sweet snap posted to social media.
Although it was long rumoured the couple would wed in December, they are officially in the process of planning to walk down the aisle in the company of their closest family, friends, and business associates. Sánchez will marry the Amazon founder whom she met while they were both still married, embarking on an illicit affair that played out in the press. The news of their engagement broke in 2023, following their respective divorces which cost Bezos $38 billion.
Dubbed the biggest wedding of the decade, itâs no surprise the brideâs little brother compared the event to one of the most glamorous royal weddings in history. Princess Diana married King Charles in a grand ceremony watched by 750 million people, bringing out troves of fans to the streets of London.
Often making headlines for their outrageous spending and morally ambiguous business strategies, the Bezosâ want to make their ceremony a charitable one. Paul Sánchez unveiled their plan to encourage guests to donate to a charity of their choice rather than buying a wedding gift for the couple who already have everything they need.
Unlike Princess Diana and King Charlesâ wedding, the event will be anything but traditional. In preparation for the big day, they will take a trip to space on Bezosâ rocket. Sánchez will captain an all-female crew of six in an out-of-this-world voyage sure to rival all future Hen parties. Blasting off in April, she will be joined by Katy Perry, Oprah Winfreyâs best friend Gayle King, NASA scientist Aisha Bowe, activist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the glowing bride-to-be, couldnât contain her excitement for the outer space adventure. âThis journey is more than a space flight, itâs about inspiring the next generation of explorers and dreamers, being bold, and embracing adventure in pursuit of learning and growing as a person.â
