Craig Conover Says Paige DeSorbo Talked About Marriage Before Split
‘Southern Charm’ star Craig Conover claims that Paige DeSorbo was talking about their wedding before calling off their three-year relationship
Craig Conover is claiming that he and Paige DeSorbo had marriage on the brain before their surprising split.
“Two weeks prior, she asked me to plan us a trip to Europe for New Year’s. She also talked about our wedding in her mom’s kitchen,” Conover, 35, claimed during his Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen appearance on Thursday, February 6. “She made me promise we would never break up, weekly.”
DeSorbo, 32, announced in December 2024 that she and Conover decided to break up after three years together. He claimed on Thursday, however, that the breakup was not mutual.
“We had Thanksgiving with her family and then I went to Toronto for an event, and she called me,” Conover continued, addressing host Andy Cohen. “We’ve been together for three years, and you know a lot of stuff that we’re not going to talk about tonight — plans that we had.”

Following their breakup, Conover continued his press tour for Southern Charm season 10. He insisted on WWHL that he “never asked” DeSorbo to pretend that they were still together while he was doing interviews for the show, despite her recent claims otherwise. (A midseason trailer for Southern Charm, also released on Thursday, showed Conover saying that he bought a ring for DeSorbo.)
“We FaceTimed and I didn’t think it was real,” he explained. “We had been together for three years, Andy.”

Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover were open about their long-distance relationship prior to their December 2024 split. “We spend as much time as we can together and we’re patient with each other,” Conover told Us Weekly exclusively at the October 2024 Hayu FanFest in London. “We’re in a great place and, fortunately, New York and […]
He also addressed the public’s reaction to their split, especially people who have said “love isn’t enough” to maintain a long-distance romance.
“Guess what? Love is enough and I hate that I’m being drawn into that. If two people love each other, you’ll make it work,” Conover said. “For all the long-distance people watching … like, we didn’t want different things, she just wanted other people and that’s fine. She didn’t want those things with me anymore and I’m not mad at her for that, but I don’t like this ‘love isn’t enough’ thing because you’ll make it work.”
