Dan Edgar was the eighth contestant to leave Dancing on Ice after an intense skate-off, but not everyone watching at home was satisfied with the result.
The beloved ITV show, with Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern as hosts, graced television sets again on Sunday (March 2) as the final four celebrities fought it out for a place in the grand final.
Michaela Strachan and Sam Aston were voted through to the final as Anton Ferdinand and partner Annette Dytrt faced off against Dan Edgar and his partner Vanessa James.
On the judging panel, Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, Christopher Dean, and Jayne Torvill all agreed that Anton Ferdinand was the one to stay.

ITV)Disgruntled fans unleashed their dismay across social media platform X who were unhappy with the decision.
The Express reports how viewers shared comments like: "No way should Anton have been put through, he messed up at the end of his routine."
Another added fuel to the fire questioning: "Had anyone else done that, they would have gone home. Don't understand why the judges love him so much?" Criticisms didn't end there, as one observer noted: "Anton hasn't got a hope in hells chance of winning the final against the other two celebrities."
While another shared their lack of confidence in the skate-off's contenders: "Not sure either couple in the dance-off are good enough to be in the final. Both were unsteady on the ice and the routines were poor."

The competition's Sunday spectacle saw not only high-octane performances but also a gaffe by Christopher Dean, who inadvertently blurted out a swear word live on air.
The legendary skater dropped the "F bomb" right at the beginning of the show, in what some viewers found to be a jaw-dropping moment after Corrie actor Sam's routine.
When the scores rolled in for Sam and his partner Molly's performance to Queen's anthem "I Want to Break Free", the judges lavished them with full marks, except for Jayne who awarded them a 9.5.

ITV)But it was during Chris's feedback regarding Samâs solo stint on the ice that the unplanned expletive made its unexpected debutâcaught unawares and realising heâd forgotten to score, Chris let loose: "Oh f***ing heck, I forgot to put that in."
He quickly clarified his forgetfulness: "I got so excited with your performance that I forgot to give you a mark."
Following the hiccup, the show issued an apology for the oversight.
