Dancing On Ice star shares bloody injury snap after 'painful' rehearsal accident
Dancing On Ice professional Colin Grafton has shared a gory injury photo after suffering a mishap while rehearsing for Sunday night's live show
Dancing On Ice's Colin Grafton has taken to social media to share a nasty snapshot of an injury he sustained during rehearsals for the upcoming Sunday night spectacle. The pro skater, who is set to dazzle alongside Traitors sensation Mollie Pearce, revealed the mishap before the live extravaganza.
Mollie herself wasn't immune to the perils of the rink, having previously fractured her left wrist in a training tumble with her local coach. "I basically had a fall. It's so easily done, I fractured my left wrist. Which isn't great, considering I only have one in the first place! It's not the best thing!" she shared with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on This Morning.

On Wednesday evening, he posted a harrowing image on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, showing his grey tracksuit drenched in blood from his shin, captioning the grisly scene with "Ouchie #DancingOnIce rehearsals." On the picture he wrote: "Battle wounds."
Fans were quick to flood the comments with well-wishes, with one concerned follower writing: "Oh no - that's not good! Hope you are as ok as you can be," and another chiming in with: "Ouch, that must hurt. Hope you are ok. Look after yourself."
Despite their rocky start due to Mollie's injury, Mollie and Colin have emerged as the pair to keep an eye on this series. Colin recently spilled to the Mirror about how they've navigated the training challenges, suggesting the enforced break might have even been a blessing in disguise.
Colin and Mollie have been hailed 'the ones to watch' (Image: PA)"We had about a month off the ice. It was a bit frustrating and we were just hoping to get back on the ice as soon as possible," he divulged, reports the Mirror.
"But since then, after our month off, we got back on the ice, and it's been full steam ahead, and things have been going very, very well. So it started off a bit rough, but we stayed positive, and now things are looking good."
Discussing how they turned the 'bummer' into a boon, he revealed that ITV had arranged for a dance studio for them to train in daily while they were off the ice. "We worked about two to three hours in the dance studio every day in front of the mirrors," he said.
"And that really helped us in the long run."
Earlier this week, Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey was the first celeb to be shown the door from the series, alongside her professional skating partner Andy Buchanan, after scoring a lowly 22 points.
"It's fine. Personally there's been a lot going on with me that I've been struggling with so I couldn't focus, but I'm just really grateful," she said of her departure.
