Dancing on Ice fans say star 'could win' after 'amazing' performance
Fans of Dancing on Ice are convinced they've spotted the winner
Dancing on Ice fans believe one contestant "could win" this series after they skated on Sunday (February 2) night during the fourth week of the ITV show.
Judges Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean returned once again as the fair-but-tough judging panel as the various celebrities took to the ice.
The Traitors star Mollie Pearce is partnered with professional skater Colin Grafton who danced to a rendition of This Is Me from The Greatest Showman.
Every celebrity had to choose a song that meant something to them, and Mollie opened up about her stoma that she received at 18-years-old after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis aged 11.
The autoimmune condition causes inflammation in the large intestine triggering ulcers and debilitating pain. Mollie previously shared: "Now, my small intestine sticks outside of my stomach and I have a stoma bag over the top, which collects my waste.
"I would never have been able to do the missions in the middle of a field or the middle of a loch. So actually having a stoma bag is the best thing I've ever done."
When asked how it affects her skating, Mollie shared: ""It's not been much of an issue for us. I think there's some lifts we've talked about and Colin always checks it is okay, but as long as my bag isn't too full then it's not a problem and it's not stopped us doing anything,"
"We forget about it a lot of the time. I think it's amazing for other people to see someone on TV with a stoma bag." Coronation Street recently tackled a storyline where Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) was given a stoma bag after a plastic surgery operation went wrong.
After scoring 31 points, fans took to social media to praise the star. @roscoeleebarnes wrote: "Mollie could win this" and @rekh01 added: "Absolutely amazing Mollie".
@MemesRupaul penned: "What a great performance from Mollie tonight! Strong powerful and full of confidence. Great speed on the ice and you looked absolutely gorgeous itâs a solid 9"
@nicolagold_ praised: "Mollie is definitely capable of better she just needs some confidence and to be pushed to skate on her own! Rooting for her".
