Danny Dyer has revealed that his 11-year-old son Arty will star in a new working class romantic comedy film alongside him.
The former EastEnders actor, 47, also known for Disney+ series Rivals, has taken on the main role in Marching Powder, which sees him reunite with the director of The Football Factory, Nick Love.
Dyer told the podcast Live And Let Dyers, which he presents with his daughter Dani Dyer, that the film is āsomething very, very differentā, as he plays Jack who tries to turn his life around after facing a spell in prison.

He added: āIt is something Iām very, very proud of. Because it is a love story, itās a working class love story.
āClassism is a thing, and most rom-coms are never set on a council estate. Thereās Pride & Prejudice, thereās someone in f****** britches.ā
Dyer argued that his romantic comedy is gritty and unfiltered, and told through a working class lens, which he called āyou know, a love story where both the man and woman say c***, but in a loving wayā.
The female love interest is played by Stephanie Leonidas, 40, who is known for science fiction series Defiance, where she played an alien living inĀ post-apocalyptic Earth, and fantasy MirrorMask,
āSheās a very strong woman in this. I want to shout out Steph, Steph Leonidas,ā Dyer said.
āLittle manās in it as well. Ooh, thatās a f****** exclusive, no one knows that. Arty is in it. My son, my actual son and heir.ā
Dyer also called him ābrilliantā, and said he was not sure whether he will become an actor in the future.
āYou know what, this is his moment,ā he added.
