Danny Jones makes first TV appearance since Maura Higgins kiss scandal

McFly's Danny Jones has appeared on TV for the first time since he was caught on camera sharing a kiss with Maura Higgins at a BRIT Awards afterparty.
The 38-year-old musician, who is married to model Georgia Horsley, was filmed planting a kiss on his I'm A Celebrity campmate at Universal's BRIT bash earlier in the week, causing quite the stir among celeb circles.
Footage shared by the Sun appears to show Danny, who has been married to his wife Georgia since 2014, kissing Maura inside the venue.
A source told the outlet that they "seemed to be having a great time," adding: "They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss."
The source said that they "seem to have a close friendship" after meeting on ITV's I'm A Celebrity, which airs on Virgin Media in Ireland, last year - which Danny won - and were "talking and laughing for ages". It's been reported that they spent 90 minutes together at the event as other guests partied around them.
Danny has since surfaced on a pre-recorded episode of The One Show, joining forces with his McFly bandmate and The Voice co-judge Tom Fletcher to narrate a short tale as part of BBC's 500 Words contest.

The special episode, shot on February 26, featured presenters Roman Kemp and Alex Jones revealing the winners of the 500 Words competition, a challenge that invited tykes to submit their brief narratives.
Hosted at Buckingham Palace, an array of stars including Olivia Colman, Rose Ayling-Ellis and McFlyâs own Tom and Danny were there to read aloud the six victorious pieces.
After the ceremony, Danny said on camera: âToday has been fun. Having a little boy myself, the power of stories, the power of imagination. It's inspiring me, not just the kids, so it's been an amazing day.â
Danny made his first public appearance today since the scandal, getting snapped alongside Tom while chatting with Queen Camilla at a star-studded event, reports the Mirror.
The Queen Consort was caught on camera sharing a laugh with the celeb crew, which included JB Gill, Rob Brydon, and Gladiator legends Fire and Nitro. Lenny Henry, Frank Cottrell-Boyce, and Marlorie Blackman were spotted as judges at the bash.

The former Miss England and Mum's the Word podcast co-host has pulled out of upcoming gigs at the Baby Show with Kelsey Parker, aiming to protect seven-year-old Cooper from the scandal's backlash.
"Georgia is struggling at the moment. She isn't just having to navigate the circumstances, but doing it publicly," the insider shared. "She has been humiliated. People are quick to forget there is a child in the middle of this mess."
The couple is said to be in serious discussions after the 'drunken kiss', eager to put the embarrassing episode behind them. "This saga has been embarrassing and Danny had a lot of explaining to do," another source commented.
