Danny Jones' wife Georgia Morsley has been flooded with support from fans after a video emerged of the McFly star, 38, appearing to 'kiss' Love Island's Maura Higgins.

Danny Jones' wife Georgia Morsley has received an outpouring of support from fans after an astonishing incident at the BRIT Awards made headlines.

Following the awards show on Saturday, footage began circulating which seemed to show Danny in a compromising moment with Love Island star Maura Higgins.

The McFly guitarist and vocalist has been wed to Georgia since 2014, and their loving relationship has won them many admirers, especially following their emotional reunion during last year's I'm A Celebrity.

On X, previously Twitter, one user expressed their dismay: "Ngl I'm actually heartbroken poor Georgia poor Cooper... Danny Jones you silly man."

Another couldn't hide their shock: "My jaw is on the floor at that video of Danny Jones cheating on his wife with Maura Higgins last night. So gutted for Georgia and so disappointed in Danny."

So far, none of those implicated have commented publicly on the incident. However, some concerned followers attempted to reach out to Georgia directly through her Instagram, sending messages of solidarity beneath her latest photo of Cooper, the child she shares with Danny, reports the Mirror.

Messages ranged from saddened supporters saying, "I'm so sorry if it's true with Danny," to compassionate comments like "I'm so, so sorry, you are such a beautiful person inside and out. We are all here for you xxxxx."

Amidst the online commotion, others simply stated, "We're all behind you," and some beseeched her to give an update, with heartfelt pleas akin to "Please can you address if you're okay," accompanied by a heart emoji.

However, the tone of comments on Danny's latest Instagram post - a photo of him at the BRITs with McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher and YouTube sensation KSI - was markedly different. "Fans are meant to respect you but how can they when you don't even respect yourself," read one irate comment.

The video causing all the controversy appears to have been shot after the BRITs ceremony, during Universal Music's afterparty at 180 Studios on the Strand in London. An insider alleges that just before 3am, Danny and Maura entered the venue's foyer together, where their supposed kiss was captured on camera.

The Sun shared footage seemingly showing Danny and Maura getting cosy inside the venue, with Maura planting a few kisses on his cheek before he reportedly leaned in to kiss her on the lips. A source described them as appearing to be "seemed to be having a great time" together and characterised the kiss as a "brief, drunken moment".

After the video was filmed, the pair reportedly left with fellow I'm a Celeb star Oti Mabuse to attend another event. They were allegedly spotted laughing at Sony Music's afterparty at Nobu Hotel an hour later.

A source informed the outlet that they were "still grinning" and "joking about" while there.
