The actress previously revealed how alcohol played a central role in the breakdown of her marriage to David. âEverybody thought (David) was the golden star in swimming trunks on the beach with Pamela Anderson, but the drink was taking over his life," she told the Daily Mail. Pamela described her husband as a man whose battle with alcohol had begun to take a devastating toll. âTo me, he was the man who fell over on the bedroom floor,â she said, painting a heartbreaking picture of the private struggles they faced.

Pamela also spoke about how she viewed David's addiction. âHe has a disease, just like cancer,â she said. âAnd just like cancer, it ate away at our family from the inside.â Despite her deep love for David, the toll his addiction took on their relationship was undeniable. Pamela confessed: âI always believed in happy Hollywood endings, but our story doesnât have one.â

She admitted that both of them had been living a lie, but the most painful truth of all was that Davidâs love for alcohol had overshadowed everything else. "We were both living a lie, but the biggest tragedy was that David loved the bottle more than me,â she shared, reflecting on the emotional pain of their divorce and the devastating impact it had on their family life David filed for divorce from Pamela in 2006. The couple had been married for 16 years before their separation.
David is an American actor, singer, and producer best known for his roles in the iconic TV shows Knight Rider and Baywatch.
