David Tennant has been mocked for looking like “all three Top Gear presenters” in his new ITV drama, The Hack.
Tennant, 53, transformed into a grey-haired news reporter to play real-life investigative journalist Nick Davies in the drama.
In first look images, the Doctor Who star posed in a light blue shirt tucked loosely into jeans while standing next to a computer in a newsroom.
After the snaps were shared online, Tennant was roasted for looking like a combination of Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond.
“He looks like all 3 top gear hosts combined,” one amused fan wrote on X.

“The shirt of Clarkson, the hairstyle and eyebrows of Hammond and the hair colour and expression of May,” another joked.
“Is this David Tennant turned into a Top Gear host by AI? Is this real? This is David Tennant right?” a third quipped.
Someone else admitted: “For the longest time as a child I thought David Tennant and Richard Hammond were the same person.”
The Hack was written by BAFTA, Tony and Olivier award winning screenwriter, Jack Thorne, and produced by the team from Mr Bates vs The Post Office.
Set between 2002 and 2012, it follows the phone hacking scandal as well as former Met Police Detective Chief Superintendent Dave Cook (Robert Carlyle) who is investigating a murder.
Esteemed actor Toby Jones plays former Editor-in Chief of The Guardian, Alan Rusbridger.
The cast boasts other impressive names from British television including Rose Leslie, Dougray Scott, Steve Pemberton, Katherine Kelly, Adrian Lester and Charlie Brooks.

In 2017, Tennant sued the owners of the defunct News of the World over alleged phone hacking.
The Broadchurch star accepted damages and an apology a year later, with his lawyer saying he was "outraged and shocked" by the alleged invasion of privacy.
He was among six people who settled claims for misuse of private information and breach of confidence at London's High Court.
The others were Olympic medallist Colin Jackson, actress Sophia Myles, PR guru Fran Cutler, fashion designer Jess Morris and Tanya Frayne, the ex-wife of footballer David James.
The News of the World closed in July 2011 after allegations of phone hacking at the paper, revealed by the Guardian.
Journalists hacked into the voicemail messages of celebrities and politicians by using a default factory-set PIN number.
Several former journalists and managers of the paper were put on trial, including former editor and Downing Street communications director Andy Coulson.
Coulson received an 18-month prison sentence and was released after less than five months.
