A high-class escort has offered a glimpse into the private lives and attitudes of the global elite attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, revealing their bleak outlook on the world's future.

Salome Balthus, a 40-year-old escort and author from Berlin, traveled to Davos to meet with clients during the annual gathering of wealthy and influential leaders. She told MailOnline that many of the super-rich believe that a climate catastrophe is inevitable and use their immense wealth to indulge themselves before it’s too late.

“The elephant in the room is climate change. Everyone knows it can't be prevented anymore,” Salome shared. She explained that these elites generally fall into two groups. “The one group thinks it only affects the poor, the 'not-white race,' while the others fear that it could get worse but believe there’s no point in trying to stop it. They just enjoy themselves.”

Salome added, “The one half is in despair, and the other, dumber, half is celebrating future mass deaths. It's not just like that in Davos, but it's concentrated there [during the WEF].”

She described casual discussions at bars, saunas, or hotel lobbies where attendees, often after a few drinks, share cynical views about global issues. “They say they will enjoy a few more nice years on Earth and know that there’s no future. They are very cynical and somehow deeply sad.”

Salome also commented on the arrogance of some attendees: “The public must know that the enemies of the poor and the lower class are not the migrants but the super-rich. Tax the Rich etc. is a joke behind closed doors. There's a guy at the bar who shouts, ‘Tax the Rich’ with every new shot. They feel untouchable.”

In her exclusive line of work, Salome emphasized the importance of discretion. According to her, many of the clients at Davos are “subaltern workers who are excited, maybe even there for the first time,” rather than the top-tier power players. “The passion of erotica and the passion of power often mix, but the latter dominates so much that it can erase the former,” she said.

Prostitution is legal in Switzerland, and high-end escorts attending events like the WEF present themselves discreetly, blending into the business-oriented environment with smart attire and professional demeanor. “I wear normal clothes—a purple suit and a black coat—to make it look like I am actually part of the conference scene,” one escort, Tiffany, told MailOnline.

While Salome remained tight-lipped about specific encounters, she acknowledged the unique demands of her clientele. “I only meet up with people that I like somehow. There are some very intelligent people there, and all I can say is they probably need a lot of alcohol right now [given the state of the world].”

With approximately 3,000 delegates in attendance, Davos remains a hub for high-stakes discussions on global issues—and a lucrative venue for those providing discreet companionship to the world’s elite.
