Superman star Dean Cain revealed the Malibu home his parents, Christopher Cain and Sharon Thomas, built has burned down amid the devastating Los Angeles fires.

The Lois & Clark actor, 58, shared a heartbreaking video showcasing the remaining rubble of his childhood home to his X account on Tuesday.

'Here is footage of my old house that my sister sent me. My parents built it. Sorry Mama + Papa, and so many others,' he wrote in the caption.

The video showed that the fire had completely decimated the oceanside property, which he listed for $7.25 million in March of 2023, before selling it for $6.25 million in May.

Cain — who has relocated to Nevada — recently told Fox News Digital that his mother can't stop crying over the devastation.

'The house they built from the ground up... is gone to the ground. My mom's been crying for two days.'

Dean — who dated Brooke Shields when they were attending Princeton — told Fox News that all of the homes he once lived in Malibu, as well as the Pacific Palisades, have been destroyed in the fires.

'I ended up having three different houses in Pacific Palisades, one that I owned, two that I rented and lived in.'

'The three of those Pacific Palisades' [homes], all of those burned, gone. Pacific Palisades looks like someone dropped a nuclear weapon on top of it and just flattened everything. I’ve never seen anything like that. Also, three of the houses that I lived in Malibu are gone.'

He called the fires 'shocking and horrific, but not unexpected. It’s part of the reason I left California was this perfect storm of mismanagement and a failure of leadership.'

Cain explained that the Woolsey Fire in 2018 previously burned his backyard but not his house.

'We’re used to this in Malibu. We get the wind, we get the fire, so we know how to deal with it. But when you have all the… tools taken away from you, no money, no brush clearance, no controlled burns, all of those things, you end up with a catastrophic situation like this.'

He said that after the Woolsey Fire his fire insurance was canceled, which prompted his move to Henderson, Nevada, in 2018.

'There’s so many of us that have been shouting from the rooftops, including President Trump, numerous times, way back in the day during his first presidency. He’s been saying it, mismanagement is going to cost you. Removing money from the fire budget is going to cost you. Not controlled burning is going to cost you. Failure to reservoir the water, it’s going to cost you.'

Cain blamed Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom, stating: 'You screwed up, Gavin Newsom. You screwed up.'

He also shared that his monthly water bills in Malibu reached the thousands, and he couldn't secure fire insurance for less than approximately $40,000 per year.

He said eventually his son Christopher helped him decide that it was time to leave California.

'It was weird to leave my home forever, but to come here now [Henderson, Nevada] and to be in this gorgeous home with great policies, you know, castle doctrine, "stand your ground" stuff and things like that, I’m like, "Wait a minute, this makes perfect sense." And then to watch the disaster unfold, I’m horrified. My heart is broken for the people who are suffering at the hands of this mismanagement. But I’m hoping that that will teach them about common sense.'

Cain believes California residents and Hollywood liberals might now vote differently, sharing, 'once it affects you, your votes change.'

'I think this is going to turn a very, very blue state, much more red. I’m hoping California becomes purple and I’m hoping that — listen, my heart goes out to those who have lost everything. And I know they’re going to go through years and years of red tape, nightmare, memories gone. It’s going to be one of those catastrophic events in their lives. And I hope that this will wake up people so they’ll start voting for policies that make sense, common sense, and they’ll prepare for this sort of thing in the future.'

Cain added that his move to Nevada was 'one of the smartest things I’ve ever done.'

'I feel like I’ve been freed,' he shared. 'Just so many people are just going to be like, you got out just in time. And I did.'

His former residence boasted breathtaking views overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

The single level dwelling was built in the tony Malibu Country Estates in 1976.

The home also featured a lagoon shaped private pool, a waterfall spa, and a terraced garden with roses.

A series of steps allowed residents of the home to go straight down to the beach.

Dean was born in Michigan to mom Sharon and his biological father — whom he never met — Roger Tanaka. Shortly after his birth, Sharon moved him and his brother to Los Angeles, where she married film director Christopher in 1969.

Christopher went on to adopt Dean and Roger. The pair later moved to Malibu, and later had a daughter named Krisinda.

Some of Hollywood's biggest names have seen their beloved homes razed in the devastating wildfires that have swept through Los Angeles this week.

Anthony Hopkins, Miles Teller and Anna Faris are just a few of the many stars whose stunning mansions have been reduced to ash and rubble.

Upwards of 200,000 residents have been subject to evacuation orders and thousands are still trapped in shelters, unable to return home as authorities begin the arduous task of searching the ash and debris for human remains.

The fires are still raging a week on - costing at least 25 lives, razing an estimated 12,300 structures and wiping out 40,000 acres of land.

The sheer scale of the devastation is unprecedented, with prime real estate stretching from Malibu to the Palisades and down to Santa Monica wiped off the map.

The death toll is likely to rise, Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said Monday. At least two dozen people have been reported missing, he said.
