Demi Moore Supporting Bruce Willis, Emma Heming Amid Oscars Buzz
Demi Moore is showing support to her ex-husband Bruce Willis and is focused on his well-being amid her incredible comeback, a source exclusively tells In Touch.
Demi Moore is spending plenty of time with ex-husband Bruce Willis over the holiday season and a source close to the actress tells In Touch exclusively that sheâs been keeping him up to speed with her surging Hollywood career while easing the burden on his current wife, Emma Heming Willis.
âDemiâs had an incredible year as a central player in three bonafide hits including FX/Huluâs miniseries Feud: Capote vs. The Swans, international indie film smash The Substance, and Paramount+ drama hit Landman, but whatâs really interesting is how gracefully sheâs handling all the new attention and awards buzz while also keeping Bruceâs peace and comfort at the very top of her list of priorities,â a longtime friend of the Oscar-tipped actress, 62, says.
Bruce, 69, was recently spotted in public for the first time since 2022, when it was announced that he would be stepping away from acting after being diagnosed with the language disorder aphasia. His family revealed the following year that Bruce was specifically battling frontotemporal dementia.
In new clips posted via Instagram that were captured on January 15, the Pulp Fiction icon was all smiles during a rare outing while expressing his gratitude to the first responders who bravely battled the Los Angeles wildfires.

Emma, 46, and Bruce have been married since 2009 and share two children together, Mabel Willis and Evelyn Willis. The couple wed nine years after his split from Demi, with whom he shares daughters Rumer Glenn Willis, Scout LaRue Willis, and Tallulah Willis. Demi and Bruce previously tied the knot in 1987 and finalized their divorce in 2000 after 13 years of marriage.
âKeeping Bruce comfortable and keeping his spirits up has become the central mission of Demiâs life and no amount of Oscar chatter or red carpet galaâs is going to keep Demi from the weekly time she spends with Bruce, especially during the holiday season,â the insider tells In Touch.

âYes, it can look kind of performative when the family posts pictures of Bruce at home surrounded by Emma, Demi or their daughters, but itâs coming from a genuine place and Demi isnât doing this for clicks or public relations, sheâs doing it because Bruce deserves to be appreciated and around his family during this difficult period,â the pal shared.

The source tells In Touch that Demi wants to show her support and is âconvinced she is making a difference by staying by his side even though heâs not really able to communicate much beyond a chuckle or a warm grin.â
Family and friends have continued to rally around the beloved actor as Bruceâs progressive condition is known to cause the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain to atrophy. People impacted by FTD may face changes in their personalities and ability to communicate.
âSure, Demi and Emma can pray for a miracle but practically speaking, theyâre just lucky Bruce has held on as long as he had and every new memory and moment with him these days is incredibly precious to the entire family,â the insider tells In Touch. âItâs not convenient for Demi to take so much time out of her schedule to spend with Bruce, but she sees it as absolutely necessary.â
