Demi Moore visits ex-husband Bruce Willis weekly: 'We will always be family'
The couple were married for 13 years.
Demi Moore has told of her affection for ex-husband Bruce Willis.
The couple were married between 1987 and 2000 and share three daughters, Rumer, 36, Scout, 33 and Tallulah, 31.
Now Demi has revealed that the pair remain close, particularly after Bruce was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022, then frontotemporal dementia in 2023.
"We will always be a family, just in a different form," the 62-year-old said. "For me, there was never a question. I show up because that's what you do for the people you love."
The actress shared that she visits Bruce weekly, and wants to support his current wife Emma, 46, as well as Bruce and Emma's daughters, Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10.
"I hope it's encouraging for others to see that there's a different way to do things," she told Variety. "There is life after divorce. There is a way to co-parent with love."
Bruce married Emma Heming Willis in 2009, while Demi was married to Ashton Kutcher between 2005 and 2013.
Demi, who is nominated for an Oscar for her role in The Substance, has previously told how she's always prioritised a friendly relationship with her ex-husband.
"That has been very important to me even from when Bruce and I separated and divorced, is the recognition that we're a family, and we'll always be a family, just in a different form," she said. "And that form may kind of evolve and change, and there is a way in which we can all be in that form."

tvN's new weekend drama The Potato Lab has unveiled its first in-depth look of Kang Tae Oh's character!
âThe Potato Labâ is a new romantic comedy drama set in a rural potato research institute. The story follows Kim Mi Kyeong (Lee Sun Bin), a researcher whose life revolves entirely around potatoes, and So Baek Ho (Kang Tae Oh), a cold and principled corporate director. When So Baek Ho unexpectedly enters Kim Mi Kyeongâs world, the two find themselves entangled in a whirlwind romance.
The newly released stills capture So Baek Ho wearing an immaculate suite with a radiant smile. With a bouquet of flowers, So Baek Ho creates a warm and approachable atmosphere, but he is actually a cold-hearted man who only goes by the books. Thus, when he does not smile, he shows his cold and strict nature, as shown in a still where he holds someone down, exuding great charisma.
However, another photo captures So Baek Ho looking disheveled, completely unlike his usual self, making viewers curious to find out what has happened and what changes he will face at the potato research institute.
Kang Tae Oh shared, When I first came across the script for 'The Potato Lab, I felt the warm and healing vibes. I thought that this will be a great project to return with. I chose 'The Potato Lab' because I felt like it would create great memories.
The actor further used the key word principled to describe So Baek Ho, commenting, Baek Ho is a figure who makes every decision and action based on his own principles. Although he may seem like a slightly stern and cold person, I worked hard to delicately express his transformation process as he becomes one with the villagers and the potato research institute after meeting Kim Mi Kyung. He continued, Baek Ho is like a potato that was peeled in running water. A potato that has been cleanly peeled looks sleek like Baek Ho.
