Go Soo And Nam Tae Woo Visit Hwang Young Hee’s Restaurant In “Parole Examiner Lee”
tvN’s “Parole Examiner Lee” has shared new stills from its upcoming episode!
“Parole Examiner Lee” follows lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining paroles through money, connections, or deceitful tactics. The drama premiered with a 4.6 percent rating and rose to an average nationwide viewership of 5.4 percent for its second episode.

At the end of the previous episode, a teaser for the upcoming broadcast introduced actress Hwang Young Hee, heightening anticipation. According to the production team, Hwang Young Hee portrays the mother of a new character, Lee Dong Myung (Park Sang Won), who will appear in episode 3. Dong Myung’s mother runs a failing restaurant in a remote area with very little foot traffic.
The released stills feature Lee Han Shin and his secretary Hwang Ji Soon (Nam Tae Woo) watching Dong Myung’s mother closely as she serves food. Lee Han Shin’s strikingly handsome appearance immediately grabs attention, while Hwang Ji Soon is shown savoring a hearty meal, his cheeks puffed out with food.
It’s evident, however, that the two didn’t visit this remote, failing restaurant just for a meal. This leaves viewers wondering about Lee Han Shin’s motive for seeking out Dong Myung’s mother’s restaurant and how it ties into the broader story.
The production team commented, “Episode 3 will introduce new characters and a fresh storyline. Dong Myung’s mother and her restaurant will play a crucial role in helping Lee Han Shin unravel the case. Although it’s a brief appearance, actress Hwang Young Hee made a lasting impression by perfectly capturing the essence of her character. We sincerely thank her for enthusiastically agreeing to this special appearance.”
The next episode of “Parole Examiner Lee” will air on November 25 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
