Disney child actor Christian Juttner dies aged 60 as tributes shared
The 'incredible' actor starred in a number of films and TV shows at any early age.
Former child Disney star Christian Juttner has died.
The actor who starred in a number of films including Return From Witch Mountain, I Wanna Hold Your Hand and The Swarm, has died at the age of 60. He died at his home in Yucca Valley, California on November 29 last year of natural causes. His daughter Aiden Juttner has shared the sad news, reports the Mirror.
The star is survived by his mother Marlene, Aidan, ex-wife Ann, daughter Ryan, son Lucas and sister Shelley. He has a number of film and TV credits and played Teddy in the first season of The Bionic Woman from 1976 to 1977. The actor's other TV appearances include the likes of Wonder Woman, The Rookies, Ironside, two ABC Afterschool Specials and seven installments of The Magical World of Disney.
Juttner was born in Pomona, California on May 20, 1964. His father, John, was an entrepreneur who owned a beauty salon, an art gallery and the commercial glass business on the island of St. Croix. He attended Birmingham High School in the San Fernando Valley.

He also played Peter Plimpton in Robert Zemeckis' directorial debut, I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Paul Durant in The Swarm which starred Michael Caine.
Juttner's final onscreen career came to an end in 1981 as he took part in an episode of General Hospital. He was inspired to get into acting thanks to his mum and made his first appearance on a 1972 episode of Bewitched when he was eight-years-old. Upon retiring from acting, Juttner and his dad John founded their own glassworks business in Saint Croix in the Caribbean.
Juttner later created his own firm in Santa Clarita, California. Following the sad news of his death, Return From Witch Mountain co-star Ike Eisemann left an emotional tribute. He said: "I have sadly learned that Christian Juttner, one of my co-stars in Return From Witch Mountain, has passed.
"He was an incredible actor, and one of the nicest people I have ever met. RIP 'Dazzler'." Actress Lydia Cornell, who is best known for her role as Sara Rush on the ABC sitcom Too Close for Comfort, also shared a tribute. She said: "Rest in peace Christian Juttner," alongside a blue heart, butterfly and a crying emoji.
A fan shared: "How very sad to hear. Condolences to his family and friends." Another added: "He was in a number of good shows, including the Bionic Woman. I always liked seeing him act. A quiet innocence about him but could be a mischievous kid too. RIP." Someone else commented: "Oh noo!! RIP i remember seeing him in the Swarm."

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this monthâs brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes of 745 boy group members, using big data collected from December 18, 2024 to January 18, 2025.
ASTROâs Cha Eun Woo topped this monthâs list with a brand reputation index of 6,101,873, marking a 14.36 percent rise in his score since December. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included âface genius,â âRented in Finland,â and âlook in his eye,â while his highest-ranking related terms included âpowerful,â âhandsome,â and âadvertise.â Cha Eun Wooâs positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.04 percent positive reactions.
BIGBANGâs G-Dragon took second place for January with a brand reputation index of 4,987,489, while BTSâs Jin held onto his spot at third with a brand reputation index of 3,572,639.
BTSâs Jungkook rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,317,509, marking a 41.20 percent increase in his score since last month.
Finally, BTSâs Jimin maintained his position at fifth place with a brand reputation index of 3,041,320, marking an 8.55 percent rise in his score since December.
