In an interview on the morning of January 22 in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Do Kyung-soo, who plays the genius pianist Yoo Jun, who meets his fateful partner Jung Ah (Won Jin-ah) in Korea as an exchange student, in the fantasy romance film “Secret: Untold Melody” (directed by Seo Yoo-min, produced by Hive Media Corp.), mentioned the recent SM 30th Anniversary Concert.
The “SMTOWN LIVE 2025” concert, celebrating the 30th anniversary of SM Entertainment, was held on January 11 and 12, drawing significant attention. The concert saw the attendance of not only SM artists but also former SM stars, yet EXO, one of SM’s iconic idol groups, was represented only by Suho and Chanyeol, leaving fans disappointed.
Notably, Suho and Chanyeol were seen shedding tears while thinking of EXO members during the concert. Regarding this, Do Kyung-soo confidently said, “EXO is still strong.” He continued, “I believe we can definitely see the full group again. I want to tell fans not to worry. We’re going to start preparing for the full group now. You’ll be able to see the complete group soon. It might be a little difficult this year, but I think we will reunite in the near future. Since each of us has a lot of personal schedules, we need to coordinate our plans. But we have been preparing consistently.”
“Secret: Untold Melody”, a remake of the Taiwanese film of the same name, tells the story of a miraculous magical moment between two individuals who accidentally meet in a campus practice room where the secret of time is hidden. The film stars Do Kyung-soo, Won Jin-ah, Shin Ye-eun and is directed by Seo Yoo-min, known for “Recalled”. It is set to be released on January 27.
