Doechii Rates Hotel Dessert a 4, and the Baker Responds by 'Personally’ Making Her a Spread of Sweets
Doechii rated a dessert from her Paris Fashion Week hotel a 4, and the hotel baker responded by sending a whole table of desserts for her to try. She reviewed the desserts on her Instagram Stories.

After Doechii gave a dessert a subpar rating in a social media clip, the chef who made it sent her a smorgasbord of treats to try!
The Grammy winner, 26, is currently in France for Paris Fashion Week and, in between attending fashion shows and stepping out in style at the Louvre, took a second to rate some desserts from the hotel she’s staying at (whose name she said she “will not be disclosing").
Upon her arrival at the hotel on Sunday, March 2, the "Denial Is a River" rapper shared a video of herself trying a pastry on Instagram Stories — and wasn’t exactly blown away by it.

"Okay. Here's the thing, I get it. I get it, but it doesn't mean that's, it's for me,” she told fans after taking a bite out of the orange treat, plus a second to think.

“It's an acquired taste,” she added before deciding her ranking: “I'm gonna have to give it a four."
On Wednesday, March 5, Doechii continued the Parisian dessert saga when, upon returning to her hotel room, she found a spread of fruits and delectable looking desserts — including what appeared to be chocolate microphone.
Showing off the hotel’s sweet surprise in an Instagram Stories post, the rapper told fans, “Okay, last time we did the dessert taste test when I had first got here.”

The hotel, she explained, must have seen her initial taste test, and decided to respond by providing a second round.
“They gave me a note, and they was like, ‘Hey miss girl, we brought you some more desserts for you to try. These are personally from our baker.’ And so we’re going to try these again later on,” Doechii said. “And I’m excited to try them, and give another review, so let’s see how they taste and also thank you so much to my hotel that I will not be disclosing.”
“Thank you guys so much for sending me new desserts,” she added.

Hours later, the artist returned to her hotel from an event ready to try the new treats, beginning with one that looks like a lemon-lime hybrid with a hard coating. “We’re getting into the desserts,” she said while taking off her coat. “Let’s do this.”
The star then took a large bite out of the citrus fruit-shaped treat, and quickly made a shocked expression. And, after a moment of chewing and pondering the flavors, she said, “I get it.”
“I get it! I get it. I get it. I get it — I think I like it,” Doechii continued before giving the green sweet an “eight out of 10,” a far cry from her rating of the initial treat.

Next, she took a bite out of a dessert that resembled a pudding — which prompted an enthusiastic reaction, though she did not give it an official rating. “I really like this one,” the rapper declared. “This … I really like this one. Mmm. That’s good.”
Then came the “last one,” a circular, creamy dessert that she also enjoyed but did not rank. “This one kind of has, like, a cheesecake energy,” Doechii said, adding that it has a “little filling inside — so I’m going to get a little bit of that.”
The final verdict? “Fantastic,” she concluded. “They had to come back. I love it.”
