Dolly Parton showed up to the preview of Dollywood season passholders ahead of opening for its 40th season in Tennessee two weeks after husband Carl Dean died.
Dolly Parton is still grieving the loss of her husband, Carl Dean, but isn't letting his passing keep her away from her public facing responsibilities. The "9 to 5" singer was seen getting back to work just two weeks after his death on March 14—but used her appearance to give a loving tribute to her recently deceased husband.
According to People, local news outlet WSPA reported that Parton showed up to the preview of Dollywood season passholders ahead of opening for its 40th season in Tennessee. During the event, Parton thanked fans for their well wishes, flowers, and cards while she's been mourning Dean, whom she had been married to for nearly 60 years.
