President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump partied at three balls in one night as they marked his second inauguration.
The couple decided to celebrate at a military-themed Commander in Chief ball before they made an appearance at the Liberty Ball. They were joined by the Trump family and danced onstage together. Trump and Melania made their exit in a motorcade and headed to Union Station for the Starlight Ball as they finished off their night.
There was no time for outfit changes as Trump opted for a black suit with a white shirt and black bow tie. Melania wore a white floor-length strapless gown with black abstract detailing. It was made just for her by Hervé Pierre, who is the same designer who crafted her 2017 inaugural gown.

Crowds waited hours to see the couple as they appeared at 10:30pm at the first ball of the night. They did a slow dance together to The Battle Hymn of the Republic, which was played by the United States Marine Band. Trump and Melania were then joined by Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife Usha as they danced in couples on stage.
The newly sworn-in president addressed the crowd: "This is quite a gathering huh?" The Commander in Chief ball was attended by many servicemembers who sported their dress uniforms and is dedicated to the six branches of the military. Trump quipped: "Recruitment numbers are through the roof for the last two months."

He took part in a video call that was shown on screens to troops stations in South Korea. Trump said: "How are we doing over there. How's Kim Jong Un doing?" The president was given a cake in the shape of Air Force Once, which Joe Biden had scrapped. He used a sword to cut into the cake and Village People's hit Y.M.C.A. played as he danced out of the room.
Musicians including Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean and Billy Ray Cyrus performed for the crowd. Trump and Melania moved over to the Liberty Ball, which also took place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. They danced again to The Battle Hymn of the Republic and were joined by more family members.

Trump Jr. was joined by his new girlfriend Bettina Anderson. The Trump family all slow danced to Unchained Melody before the Village People came out to perform their hit Y.M.C.A. To round off their night, Trump and Melania went to the Starlight Ball where the family danced to Frank Sinatra's I Did It My Way.
Attendees of the final ball included Caitlyn Jenner, Vince Vaughn, Jake and Logan Paul and Mike Tyson. The 78-year-old world leader, in his second term in office, promised a blitz of executive orders, a radical shake-up of the global order and what he called "a golden age of America".

"The golden age of America begins right now. From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over the world. We will be the envy of every nation, and we will not allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any longer during every single day of the Trump administration, I will, very simply, put America first," the President said at the ceremony staged indoors in the US Capitol because of sub-zero temperatures.
Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W Bush were present to hear Donald's address, in which the politician also vowed to pardon the sentences of roughly 1,500 people who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, after his previous election loss.
