Both Trump and Swift were in attendance to watch the Eagles beat the Chiefs (40-22) in February at New Orleansâ Caesar Superdome. Trump became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl Game in person.
Swift, meanwhile, was there to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The singer was infamously booed by crowdgoers at the game, much to her visible confusion: âWhat is going on?â.
At the Eaglesâ White House visit, Trump made note of Swiftâs appearance at the game. During a speech, he reportedly said (per The Independent): âI was there along with Taylor Swift â how did that work out?â.

At the time, Trump also trolled Swift for being booed at the game. Taking to social media platform Truth Social, Trump shared a post from the âLibs of TikTokâ account which claimed: âTrump gets massive cheers at the Super Bowl while Taylor Swift gets booed.â

He also gloated that âthe world is healing!â in response to Swiftâs frosty reception at the game.
Previously, Trump has admitted that he âhatesâ Swift. It came after Swift broke her silence on the US elections back in September, following the first debate between Kamala Harris and Trump. In an update shared with her 284million Instagram followers at the time, she threw her support behind former Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
In the post, she championed Harris as a âsteady-handed, gifted leaderâ, writing that she believed âwe can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaosâ. She signed off the post as Taylor Swift, âChildless Cat Ladyââ a nod to a remark made by JD Vance, Trumpâs candidate for vice president, in 2021.
Elsewhere, Taylor Swift has landed the biggest-selling new vinyl release of the decade.
