This is the first meeting between these two sides since they last met in the FA Cup fifth round in 2018/2019.
The Eagles won that fixture 2-0 and have won four of their last five FA Cup away games against Yorkshire opponents - an unbeaten streak running since 1997.
Doncaster on the other hand have been eliminated from each of their last seven FA Cup ties when facing Premier league and top-flight opposition.
They last won an FA Cup tie against such opposition when they beat QPR 1-0 back in 1984/85.
Palace have won their last 11 FA Cup ties against sides in the fourth tier or lower since 1978, when losing to Hartlepool and are well favoured for victory tonight.
But as we know from the weekend, it can all change in a game as even Plymouth were able to beat Liverpool 1-0.
Palace are likely to put out a strong side in this clash and they've also got the form to boost their chances with a solid run of games since being as low down as being amongst the relegation scrap.
They are now 12th in the Premier League and face a League Two side also flying high.
Doncaster have played 30 games in League Two and only lost eight, but they've still conceded as many as 37.
Crystal Palace are also conceding just over one goal per game but have been struggling to score until recently.
Things have just started to click for their side and if they have the likes of Eberechi Eze, Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta starting they should walk this.
We didn't quite see any games where a top side really dominated over another, with lots of squad changes coupled with the lower league sides putting in big performances to make it tough.
But you just get the sense that there could be a big score line in the FA Cup somewhere and it could well be Palace who beat Man United comfortably 2-0 last Sunday.
They have the ability due to the days between games to put out a strong side and make it very tough for the League Two outfit.
