Dylan Efron Defends His Brother's Acting Career on 'The Traitors'
Zac Efron's brother, Dylan, has become a threat on Alan Cumming's Peacock show "The Traitors". Bob The Drag Queen took a jab at Zac's Acting.
Reality TV fans were treated to a heated showdown during the January 16 episode of “The Traitors“, hosted by Alan Cumming, as Dylan Efron doubled down on his suspicions of Bob the Drag Queen. When Efron voiced his belief that Bob could be one of the show’s maniacal Traitors, Bob took a shot at his brother’s acting career.

“I genuinely think you’re a Traitor,” Dylan declared to Bob, asserting that the drag performer’s charisma and acting skills made them a prime suspect. “What’s the easier game for a Traitor to play? Yes, I would play a very quiet one because I can’t be boisterous. What would Bob do? Bob is an amazing actor. I grew up with an actor.”

Bob had previously given Dylan the drag name “Misguided” during the season premiere after an earlier accusation. However, Dylan’s persistence appeared to sway more of his castmates during the January 16 episode, hinting at a potential shift in alliances.
The intense interaction added another layer of intrigue to a season already brimming with drama, as celebrities like Selling Sunset‘s, Chrishell Stauss, Britney Spear’s ex, Sam Asghari and Big Brother legend, Danielle Reyes compete to uncover the Traitors in their midst. Or, sneakily ‘murder’ the other ‘faithfuls’.
Dylan’s older brother, Zac, couldn’t be more supportive. “I think he’s going to win,” Zac told ET. “He is just the best at games. Growing up, he was a first-roll [at Yahtzee] kind of dude. If I was him, I would move to Vegas and just play games.”
Despite their current closeness, Dylan revealed their relationship wasn’t always so harmonious. Growing up, the Efron brothers frequently clashed, with Dylan recalling their childhood as “super combative.”

“We were always fighting with each other,” Dylan shared with BroBible. “Since I can remember, we were going at it… wrestling and punching each other.” However, their bond deepened once Dylan left college, with Zac taking him under his wing during his early days in Los Angeles.
Today, the brothers share a strong relationship, collaborating on projects like Down to Earth with Zac Efron. As Dylan takes on the challenge of “The Traitors”, his journey showcases not only his strategic mind but also the enduring support of family.
With alliances shifting and suspicions mounting, one thing is certain: the battle for victory on “The Traitors” is far from over. New episodes premiere on Peacock on Thursdays at 9/8c.
