ENHYPEN Shares Excitement for Upcoming Coachella Performance, Reflects On Their Career, and More
ENHYPEN has graced the cover of ELLE Korea!
As the group has now entered the fifth year of their career and showcased remarkable growth, the photo shoot focused on capturing the members as their current, authentic selves.
In an interview following the shoot, the group shared their excitement and anticipation for this year’s Coachella festival, where ENHYPEN is set to take the stage in April.
Jungwon expressed confidence, saying, “Although this will be our first time at Coachella, I believe we can do well and truly enjoy performing at the festival, thanks to our extensive stage experience performing at concerts and other events. We’re currently practicing rearranged versions of our songs, and I can already picture what the performance will look like. I think it's going to be fun.”
Meanwhile, Heeseung remarked, “I feel like when I look back later on, this performance will be one of the highlights of my life. It’s a stage every singer dreams of standing on, and opportunities like this don’t come often. I want to fully embrace the moment, so I’m working really hard to prepare.”
Ni-ki also expressed his excitement, commenting, “This is our first time [performing] at such a large festival, but I’m more excited than nervous. It’s a precious opportunity to share our music with people who haven’t heard of us yet, so we’re working hard to prepare.”
Jake added, The more we tour, the more I feel that our opinions and areas for improvement have been reflected in our performances. The same goes for our set list and performance—it reflects the members’ input.”
When asked how it feels to enter the fifth year of their career, Sunghoon responded, “Although it’s our fifth year, I feel like there’s still a lot of room to grow, perhaps because I debuted early. I want to show improvement in every aspect—not just appearance, but also skills and mindset.
Jay remarked with pride, “I think the defining characteristic of K-pop artists is the diversity they can achieve based on how they envision and build themselves. I believe we’ll continue to enjoy this journey in the future as we do now.”
Sunoo shared his aspirations, answering, “Looking back at our past stages, I realize we worked really hard for every performance. I don’t want to lose that spirit moving forward.”
