EastEnders fans are calling on the programme to ‘protect' a beloved character at all costs after seeing a new friendship form they 'didn’t know they needed'.
In a period of the show that has focused on funeral planning, affairs and a secret potentially ruining a family, the residents of Albert Square could do with some good news.
In scenes aired on Wednesday (March 6), Bianca Jackson attempted to overcome her current slump to help Kojo Asare deal with a group of bullies.
Bianca has been a shell of herself in this week's batch of episodes, struggling to leave the house as she processes the death of Reiss Colwell, who locked her up for several months after kidnapping her.
Things reached breaking point for Bianca, when her sister Sonia Jackson slapped her after she suggested that she should have left Reiss sooner than she did, and avoid being temporarily sent to prison as a result.
With Bianca devastated that her sister wasn't understanding of her new fear of going outside, Kojo comforted Bianca and offered to get them some dinner from Beale's Eels.
Upon entering the cafe, Kujo wasn't happy with a group of young men, who were having a food fight and threw mashed potato at a picture of the late Martin Fowler.
Receiving a phone call from Peter Beale, Bianca bravely left the house and confronted the men with her sister Sonia, threatening to spray them with fire extinguishers to make them leave.
With Kujo safe, he, Biana and Sonia headed to back to the sisters' home, where Sonia announced that her new baby Julia would be leaving hospital soon.
Those watching the episode rushed to social media to ask BBC bosses if they could continue to explore Kojo and Bianca's new friendship going forward.
