Rising R&B force Ebubé has shared his debut solo single ‘Where I Wanna Be’.
The singer’s recent work is connected to the huge changes brought by the pandemic – initially intending to study medicine in France, the country’s lockdown rules pushed him to be creative in his spare time.
Moving from classical music to R&B, his initial clips on TikTok went viral, with Ebubé subsequently becoming a key member of UK force No Guidnce.
Late last year Ebubé began dropping solo clips on socials, intimating to fans that a fresh era was about to begin.
Out now, new single ‘Where I Wanna Be’ is a true statement of individuality. Coming from the heart, the song deals with feeling stuck in your life, and attempting to find a forward path.
Impeccably pieced together, ‘Where I Wanna Be’ was co-written alongside Tyler Lewis, while the on-point production comes from RELYT (FLO, Victor Ray, Ayanna) and Joe Gosling.
“Feeling stuck in a place in life is such a restricting feeling, where sometimes you don’t know where to direct your emotions,” he says. “‘Where I Wanna Be’ is a representation of that frustration, especially when you want to become better for someone else.”
Tune in now.
