Elon Musk has branded Volodymyr Zelensky "evil" for pushing a "forever war" with Russia.
The SpaceX CEO, 53, reacted to a scathing Truth Social post by Donald Trump, in which the US President took aim at Mr Zelensky. Mr Musk weighed in, writing on X: "Zelensky wants a forever war, a never-ending graft meat grinder. This is evil."
It comes as Mr Trump, 78, has paused the US's military aid for Ukraine. All military equipment not currently in Ukraine will be halted and all future aid is now in jeopardy, it is said.
It is believed Mr Trump wants to put the squeeze on the Ukrainian leader to reach a peace deal - but prospects of this looked bleak on Friday after Mr Trump and Vice President JD Vance bullied Mr Zelensky during a disastrous White House meeting.
And, after Mr Zelensky said the end of the war with Russia was "still very, very far away", an angry Mr Trump had wrote on Truth Social: "This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelensky, and America will not put up with it for much longer."

AP)The US President added Mr Zelensky, 47, "doesn't want there to be peace as long as he has America's backing". Mr Musk also alleged in another post Mr Zelensky "wants a forever war" because he would otherwise "lose his spotlight on the international stage".
Speaking during a press conference on Monday, Mr Trump hinted the President of Ukraine might not survive long in his role if he continued to make demands ahead of a peace deal.
"It should not be that hard a deal to make. It could be made very fast. Now, maybe somebody doesn't want to make a deal, and if somebody doesn't want to make a deal, I think that person won't be around very long. That person will not be listened to very long," Mr Trump told reporters at the White House.
But Mr Zelensky, who has been the country's leader for six years, stood his ground in the dispute, taking aim at Republican Senator Lindsey Graham. Mr Zelensky suggested that Mr Graham apply for Ukrainian citizenship if he wanted a say on how to run the nation.
