BLACKPINKâs RosĂ© Becomes 1st K-Pop Female Soloist Ever To Enter Top 15 Of Billboard Pop Radio Airplay Chart
BLACKPINKâs RosĂ© continues to soar to new heights on U.S. radio with âAPT.â!
For the week ending on December 7, RosĂ© and Bruno Marsâ smash hit âAPT.â rose to a new peak of No. 14 in its sixth week on Billboardâs Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States.
RosĂ© is now the first female K-pop soloist ever to break the top 15âand only the second female K-pop artist overall. (Even including groups, âAPT.â is only the second song by a female K-pop act to enter the top 15, following FIFTY FIFTYâs âCupid.â)
RosĂ© has also become the first female K-pop soloist ever to enter the top 40 of Billboardâs Radio Songs chart (formerly Hot 100 Airplay), which measures weekly plays on U.S. radio stations across all musical genres. In its second week on the chart, âAPT.â jumped to a new peak of No. 29.
Additionally, âAPT.â topped both Billboardâs Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for the sixth week in a row, extending its own record as the K-pop song with the second most weeks at No. 1 on the Global 200 (bested only by BTSâs Jungkookâs âSevenâ featuring Latto, which topped the chart for seven weeks in 2023).
RosĂ©âs new single ânumber one girlâ also made a strong debut on both global charts: the song entered the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 11 and the Global 200 at No. 29.
Meanwhile, âAPT.â ranked No. 22 in its sixth consecutive week on Billboardâs Hot 100, in addition to returning to its peak of No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chartâmeaning it was once again the second best-selling song of the week in the United States. The song also stayed strong at No. 20 in its sixth week on the Streaming Songs chart.
Finally, RosĂ© jumped 43 ranks on Billboardâs Artist 100 this week, taking No. 48 in her seventh overall week on the chart as a soloist.
