Emmerdale fans 'solve' why Caleb ends up in hospital - and it's 'not Joe'
Emmerdale's Caleb Miligan will be left flatlining in hospital in upcoming scenes as confirmed in a flashforward for the ITV soap, but is Joe Tate responsible for it?
Viewers think they've solved a major Emmerdale twist ahead of Caleb Miligan's fight for life.
A flashforward that aired in December confirmed that at some point this year, Caleb would be rushed to hospital and would be left flatlining. His fate and what leads to the twist has yet to be confirmed.

In fact, a suggestion is that someone else linked to Caleb will unintentionally, or intentionally, cause Caleb's hospital dash after recent turmoil. It's Steph Miligan, Caleb's daughter, that could be to blame according to a new theory.
It follows episodes revealing Joe's mystery illness and what he's been planning for months. What he had to say on Monday night left fans convinced Caleb was in danger.

With Joe secretly seeking an organ donor without even planning on telling them, he made it clear it would be a blood relative. Fans immediately suspected poor Caleb would be chosen, leading to his stint in hospital.

Just last week Steph found out the truth about her missing grandfather, including how he'd sickeningly raped his own daughter Ruby Miligan, Steph's mum, when she was a teenager. She then realised Ruby had fallen pregnant as a result of the abuse, and Anthony was in fact her biological father.
She also learned Anthony had been killed by Ruby with her family covering up the crime. It's a lot for her to get her head around with her shown struggling in the aftermath.
Amid hints that she's set for a breakdown and tough scenes ahead, a new theory is that she might lash out at Caleb causing his hospital dash. Taking to social media, one fan theorised: "Adding to what I said I still think Steph attacks Caleb, but not immediately right away after she's been told the truth.

"I think she will bide her time then do it and further more in a further twist she will then do a runner herself. She will simply disappear from the village."
It comes as other fans suspected Joe is to blame after it emerged he had chronic kidney disease, and was using a dialysis machine. Dr Crowley and Joe both admitted they had drugged Noah to test him to see if he was a donor match, and now Joe is setting his sights on another blood relative.

Now fans are convinced his uncle Caleb Miligan will be the next target, with Caleb set to be rushed to hospital in upcoming scenes. Fans believe this will be what leads to Caleb flatlining in hospital, and that Joe will target him for his kidney or kidneys.
