Emmerdale star shares hidden detail about character ahead of dramatic episode
Emmerdale favourite Manpreet Sharma appeared on ITV's Lorraine ahead of an hour-long episode of the ITV soap tonight (Tuesday) which will see her secret blackmailer finally revealed.
Ahead of this evening’s dramatic instalment (Tuesday, March 18), Emmerdale's Manpreet Sharma graced the set of ITV's Lorraine to tease the upcoming explosive episode that promises to unveil her character’s mystery blackmailer in a riveting hour-long special.
Manpreet has been at the centre of a tormenting plot twist lately, as Emmerdale fans have seen her life turned inside out following the discovery of her Only Fans-inspired webpage by an elusive figure who then relentlessly pelted her with vile messages.

Although she deactivated her account, her looming nemesis refuses to back down and is hellbent on shattering her reputation in the medical profession using saved screenshots from her now-defunct online platform.
With the storyline reaching its climax, Rebecca Sarker, the actress behind Manpreet, joined the conversation on ITV’s Lorraine to spill the beans without giving away too much about the soap’s juicy developments.
While preserving the mystery of the show's unfolding events, she did confide the rationale behind her character’s stylish stiletto-wearing signature look.
In a playful exchange, Lorraine asked: "Is it true she (Manpreet) has to wear high heels all the time?"
To which the star responded with a chuckle, confirming: "Rebecca has to wear heels all the time," endearingly making a self-reference, reports Leeds Live.
On Monday night, Rebecca finally received a demand from the culprit and she was rattled.
They demanded money, and later this week we will see her go to confront the mystery person. But some viewers think they already know who it is, and believe that it isn't one of the teased or previously predicted suspects.
Joe Tate, Tracy Robinson, Ella Forster and Billy Fletcher have all been accused by viewers after their actions sparked suspicions. But now fans think it's not any of the four and that it could be one of two characters.
One character is someone who left the show months ago, and now fans think a comeback is on the way. The other suspect is someone currently in the village who raised eyebrows with enemy Mack Boyd.
Ross Barton has found himself a suspect from viewers who were questioning why he suddenly had cash to spend on a fancy motor. Ross claimed the vehicle was on lease, but Mack was not convinced - while viewers weren't either.
As for the other name in the mix, fans are fearing Belle Dingle's abusive husband Tom King could be back, or that someone in the village is helping him target Manpreet for a mystery reason. One fan said on social media of Ross: "He's probably the one blackmailing Manpreet and knows he's in for a payout."
As for Tom, one fan said: "Has Tom definitely left? No viewers know more than I do, but what do you think? It looked like his sentencing in December would be his last scene, but he was then brought back to talk about the divorce (which seemed unnecessary).
