MATCHWEEK 26 of the Premier League features some huge clashes at both ends of the table starting at Goodison Park as Everton host struggling Manchester United.
Everton and Manchester United played at a classic in the pair's final edition at Goodison Park.
First-half goals from Beto and Abdoulaye Doucouré gave Everton before Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte flipped the script in the game's final knocking's as a late penalty on former Red Ashley Young was denied for the hosts after a VAR check.

And breathe.
Or should that be a sigh of relief? I suspect it should be if you are of a Manchester United persuasion.
After unexpectedly fighting back from two goals down, the Red Devils got away with a huge penalty shout in stoppage time when De Ligt tugged at the shirt of Young.
Earlier, Bruno Fernandes' free-kick and Manuel Ugarte's excellent volley had dragged the visitors level after they had been outplayed and outfought for most of the contest.

90+3. Is this a penalty?!
Gueye's shot from outside the box is pushed out by Onana, and in the desperation to get to the loose ball, De Ligt appears to pull down Young.
Andy Madley immediately waves the appeals away, but VAR are looking at it in depth - and now they've suggested an on-field review!
The referee heads to the pitchside monitor under immense pressure from players and supporters. He watches it numerous times, and then returns to the field...
...where he sticks with his original decision! No penalty!
Incredible scenes here at the death!

90. There will be five minutes of stoppage time to be played at Goodison - and this is now game that you don't want to end.

88. Pickford tips Fernandes' curler over the crossbar!
Garnacho's positivity makes it possible, and that provides space for the captain to turn, twist, spin and shoot from outside the box.
Was it dropping in? Who knows, but the Everton goalkeeper certainly couldn't risk it.

86. A Yoro cross from the right is almost poked into the path of Zirkzee before Tarkowski intervenes to save Everton.
Seconds later, the ball is up the other end where Young's cross is headed straight at Onana.
You would not rule out a winner in what is now a very open game.

84. Was that handball?! Joshua Zirkzee certainly thinks so.
The United forward is convinced that his goalbound header was kept away by an Everton arm, and makes his point known to Andy Madley.
The referee pauses the game to consult VAR, but they suggest that it was all in to close a proximity to be penalised.

82. And now Manchester United believe they can win this!
Meanwhile, David Moyes responds to seeing his side's two-goal lead by making a double substitution.
Carlos Alcaraz and Tim Iroegbunam are on; off go Abdoulaye Doucoure and James Garner.

80. Out of nothing, out of nowhere, Manchester United are level!
It stems from another free-kick, albeit one that Everton thought they had dealt with when Jarrod Branthwaite headed Bruno Fernandes' cross clear.
But step forward Manuel Ugarte.
Controlling on the edge of the area with his chest, the Uruguayan connects with a lovely left-footed volley that arrows beyond Jordan Pickford.
Astonishing!

78. It's all Manchester United now - and Everton are dropping further and further back.
What a difference a goal makes.

75. With quarter of an hour remaining, there's now a spring in the step of these Manchester United players.
For the first time today, they are moving the ball incisively on the front foot.

72. The captain steps up and delivers!
Bruno Fernandes takes charge of the free-kick and whips a low right-footer around the wall and into the far corner.
Anticipating a shot lofted towards the opposite side of his goal, Jordan Pickford is rooted to the spot.
Manchester United are back in this one - and there's still plenty of time remaining.

69. Here come the reinforcements, and Ruben Amorim has turned to youth.
Leny Yoro and Chido Obi-Martin are on, replacing Rasmus Hojlund and Noussair Mazraoui.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have a free-kick a few yards outside of the Everton penalty area after Abdoulaye Doucoure was penalised for handball.

67. Having introduced Alejandro Garnacho for Casemiro a few minutes ago, Ruben Amorim is preparing more changes.

United had 57% possession throughout most of the first half and well into the second and yet still, no shots.
That first half also provided another damning indictment – that’s only one goal before the break in 17 games.
Old Trafford legend Rio Ferdinand is right in his telly pundit comments : “This is embarrassing, unforgiveable, the lack of fight and desire – don’t think I’ve seen a worse United team than this.”

65. Doucoure goes close to his second and Everton's third!
The midfield connects with a right-wing cross on the half-volley, and is only denied by sharp reactions from Onana.
It was perhaps too close to the keeper; a yard either side and it's game over.

63. Former Manchester United academy product Joe Garner goes into the book after catching Dalot with a late challenge on the far touchline.
He joins teammate Jake O'Brien on a yellow.

61. Some sensational defending from Jarrod Branthwaite.
The centre-back does well to cut a cross out and behind for an apparent corner, but before it can cross the line he somehow reacts and back-flicks a header into the hands of Pickford.
"If he meant it, it's genius!" exclaims Ally McCoist.

59. Ruben Amorim turns to his bench and summons Alejandro Garnacho.
If nothing else, it will give United fans a chance to talk about his sensational goal here last season. Just as long as they're not banking on a repeat.

57. "Goodison Park has got its glow back," purrs TNT Sport's best commentator, Adam Summerton.
These fans are certainly enjoying today on their prolonged send off to this famous old ground.

54. Harry Maguire is asking for a penalty, insisting that his shirt was pulled as he attacked a set-piece.
There may have been contact with Tarkowski, but not enough to take the former England ace to ground.
