Every K-Pop Act Nominated For The "2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards" — And Who Fans Say Were Robbed
The "2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards" has nominated several K-Pop artist for their accomplishments, though some fans believe their favorites were robbed.
The 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards will be held on March 17, 2025, and the nominees were recently announced.
Across the categories, which include multiple K-Pop specific, various artists earned nominations for their work over the last year. First up, in the categories that fans can vote on is the award for “Favorite K-Pop Dance Challenge.”
The nominees are aespa‘s “Supernova,” ATEEZ‘s “Work,” ENHYPEN‘s “XO (If You Say Yes),” ILLIT‘s “Magnetic,” aespa Karina‘s “Up,” KATSEYE‘s “Touch,” KISS OF LIFE‘s “Sticky,” LE SSERAFIM‘s “Smart,” SEVENTEEN‘s “Maestro,” and TXT Yeonjun‘s “Gum.”

In the general categories, BTS‘s Jimin earned a nomination in the “Best Lyrics” category for “Who,” and BLACKPINK‘s Rosé and Lisa each earned a nomination for “Best Music Video” for “APT.” and “Rockstar,” respectively.
BTS’s Jungkook and Jimin also earned a “Favorite On Screen” nomination for their reality show Are You Sure?! KATSEYE also was nominated in this category for their show Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE.

In the non-voting categories, “Best New K-Pop” nominees included BABYMONSTER, BADVILLAIN, ILLIT, NCT WISH, and TWS.
“K-Pop Song Of The Year” also has five nominees: “Chk Chk Boom” by Stray Kids, “Magnetic” by ILLIT, “Supernova” – aespa, “Who”- Jimin, and “XO (Only If You Say Yes)” by ENHYPEN.

Finally, aespa, ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, Jimin, and Lisa earned nominations for “K-Pop Artist Of The Year.”

As with all award show nominations, some fans have expressed their feelings that their favorite art was excluded from a category. Many fans of Stray Kids believe the group should have earned a nomination for “K-Pop Artist of The Year,” citing the group’s chart performance and sales.
Voting for categories can be done on the iHeart Radio Awards website up to 100 times a day.
