Mohamed Salah was so committed to football that he would even dribble in the SHOWER during his time with Roma.
The Egyptian forward enjoyed a sensational spell with the Serie A side after joining from Chelsea. He scored 34 goals in 83 games, with Liverpool then swooping to strike a £36.5m deal in June 2017.
But even before the Reds were on the scene, Salah was making a big impact with his work rate. He even went as far as practicing his dribbling in the shower with Roma icon Francesco Totti, according to the club’s former coach.
Speaking to Radio Serie A, Emanuele Marra said: "Two players that I had the pleasure of training, who are Totti and Salah, at the end of training I found them dribbling in the shower while they were taking a bath.
“That is, shower with the ball in and they were dribbling: this makes you understand the passion and love there is for what they do. Dribbling at that moment certainly didn't help improve their technique, but they did it simply because they love the ball."
And while Salah’s former coach has offered an insight into the Egyptian sensation, club officials were also a big fan. Roma president James Pallotta revealed that the Italian side maybe did not receive as much as they should have done for his services.
And he also claimed that Liverpool owner John Henry believed he had overpaid, something that saw Pallotta buy him a meal as consolation. Speaking to ESPN in 2018, he said: “I told him that because he was sort of bitching a little about, ‘Did we overpay? I think we overpaid,’ and I said ‘I'll buy you lunch,’

"Well, when you look at it now, you can say it's an unbelievable bargain. The issue at the time was that when [director of football] Monchi came in, Salah wanted to leave, he had a year left on his contract so in another year you'd get nothing.
“He wanted to go back [to the Premier League] and prove himself, which he certainly has done. We can't tell you that anybody else was calling for Salah at anywhere near that kind of price, so there's a lot of teams that have missed out on the great play he's had this year."
While it has been some time since Salah’s initial move from Roma to Liverpool, his future is now back up in the air. He has just a few months remaining on his Anfield contract and would be free to leave Liverpool for nothing once that deal expires.
