Channel A’s “Check in Hanyang” has shared a glimpse of the strict training that lies in store for its protagonists!
Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a new romance drama about youths who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon. Bae In Hyuk stars as Lee Eun Ho, a prince who is secretly hiding his identity, while Kim Ji Eun plays Hong Deok Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru.
Jung Gun Joo plays the role of Cheon Jun Hwa, the heir to Yongcheonru, and DKZ’s Jaechan plays Go Soo Ra, an upstanding but ambitious young man who wants to restore his family’s lost honor.

In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming second episode, the four leads passionately throw themselves into their hotelier lessons as they begin their training at Yongcheonru.
First, the interns learn to bow properly to the guests of the inn. But unlike the other interns, Lee Eun Ho is a prince who has never bowed to anyone who isn’t the king—and so he comes up with his own unique way of greeting the guests.
Next, the four protagonists—who wind up becoming roommates—are tasked with sewing. However, while Hong Deok Soo and Go Soo Ra appear to know their way around a needle and thread, Lee Eun Ho and Cheon Jun Hwa struggle with even the basics of sewing.
The “Check in Hanyang” production team teased, “In Episode 2, which airs today, the story of the four protagonists—who will learn Yongcheonru’s system as interns and each depict their own journey of growth—begins in earnest. The actors’ passionate performances and the intriguing plot will help viewers fall deeper into Yongcheonru’s universe.”
They went on to add, “We hope you’ll look forward to their journey of adjusting to Yongcheonru, which will be full of fun and laughter.”
The second episode of “Check in Hanyang” will air on December 22 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
