Invincible - Season 2: Official trailer
Amazon Prime viewers are recommending subscribers check out a series with a perfect score that is better than most Marvel movies before a brand new series is released.
Fans also say not to be put off by the fact Invincible is an animated show, saying that it packs a bigger emotional punch than many other options. The first two series are available to stream now on the streaming platform with a third instalment die to land on the service in February.
The show is a faithful adaptation of the comic book series of the same name. Those comics were penned by Robert Kirkman who also created The Walking Dead. Kirkman co-created Invincible in the same year as his take on the zombie apocalypse with issues being published from 2003 until 2018.
The cast for the adaptation includes several recognisable voices including Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Seth Rogen, Jon Hamm and Mark Hamill to name a few.

Following the same story as the original comic, the show follows Mark Grayson, a seemingly normal teenager whose father Nolan is the most powerful superhero on the planet.
Shortly after his 17th birthday, Mark begins to develop powers of his own and learns how to wield them with help from his father. However, Mark soon discovers his father has been hiding a terrible secret and learns of his dark past with him turning out to not be as heroic as he thought.
Hailed for staying true to the source material and managing to recreate the comic's artwork in its animation, the show has been a hit with critics and fans alike. The first series managed to gain a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes, while the second season earned a perfect 100% rating.
Many fans continue to sing its praises and urge others to catch up on the available episodes ahead of the third season. They claim the hero story is 'better than most Marvel movies' and that they binged the show in just a few days.
Invincible is hailed as 'better than Marvel movies'
One fan, sharing their thoughts online said: "What an amazing show, I binged it in three days because I was hooked from the start! I've never read any of the comics but I can say this is a must watch if you want a fresh take on the typical superhero journey (and are down for some gory scenes). The voice acting was phenomenal and I can't wait for the next season to come out!"
Another added: "Don't let the fact that it's animated fool you. It's better than most Marvel movies I've seen. I thought I was going to watch one episode and get bored. I ended up binge watching the whole season"
While a third commented: "This show is inspiring and full of heart! When I first watched episode 8, I truly hated Omni man, which makes him a great villain, the superhero costumes are organic and cool, Mark can be hilariously dumb at times but he's still a good character. The story was very great, I was hooked by episode 5 (for me, it takes a while to get me hooked onto a good show). If you want an adult superhero show that takes a break from the cliché Marvel and DC story lines, I suggest you watch this show in particular."
Invincible Season 1 and 2 are streaming on Amazon Prime now, Season 3 is streaming from February 6
