Fast and Furious stars Vin Disel and Jordana Brewster each shared a special message amid the Los Angeles wildfires.

Vin Diesel is still all about his family and his home city of Los Angeles.
Amid the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, the Fast and Furious star shared a message he received from his costar, Jordana Brewster, that offered hope for fans of the franchise and the people of L.A.
“Last week, during the fires that displaced LA… my sister Jordana reached out to me and said…Please have Universal film the rest of Fast X Part 2 in LA,” the 57-year-old wrote alongside a photo of him and Jordana sharing an embrace from the film in a Jan. 23 Instagram post. “Los Angeles needs it now more than ever…Los Angeles is where Fast and Furious started filming 25 years ago… and now Fast will finally return home. All love…”
After 25 years, the high-speed car action franchise will return to Los Angeles for the filming of Fast X: Part 2. Since the franchise’s inception, the crew has filmed on location in various places including Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Miami, London, Abu Dhabi and New York City.

Shortly after Vin shared her message, Jordana—who appeared in seven of the eleven Fast and Furious films as Vin’s character Dom Toretto’s sister Mia Toretto—reacted to her costar’s post.
Sharing the same picture of her and Vin’s characters wrapped in the embrace, she wrote on Jan. 23, “Love our city. Love our roots Love you brother @vindiesel.”

The wildfires began on Jan. 7 and left a trail of devastation around multiple Southern California neighborhoods leaving an estimated 13,600 structures burned and thousands of residents displaced, per NBC News. Amid the fires, celebrities such as Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, Dave Grohl, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and more have publicly supported first responders and displaced residents through volunteer work.
On a more personal note, some celebrities including Mandy Moore, Paris Hilton, and more have shared their homes were lost completely due to the fires. In fact, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag—who have been documenting their lives after their home burned down—recently shared how they are coping alongside their two children.
We're going to find the good in this," Spencer—who shares kids Gunner, 7, and Ryker, 2, with Heidi—told E! News in a joint interview Jan. 23. "And that's all I try to focus on 24 hours a day, even when I'm sleeping."
He added, “It's definitely just a survival energy."

The "Karma" singer posted a handwritten statement about the "suffering, loss and destruction" caused by the wildfires.
"The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it's been heartbreaking to see these stories unfold," she wrote on Instagram Story Jan. 16. " As so may people embark on some of the most challenging times of their ives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild."
Sharing that she donated to multiple organizations providing relief to those affected by the blazes, including the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and MusiCares, Taylor added, "If you feel compelled or able to donate, please do."

Leonardo DiCaprio
The Titanic actor is helping with relief efforts by donating.
"The Los Angeles wildfires are devastating our city," he wrote on Instagram Jan. 15. "I am committing $1 million in partnership with @rewild's Rapid Response Program to support both urgent needs and post-fire recovery efforts."
He said aid will immediately benefit the LA Fire Department Foundation, California Fire Foundation, World Central Kitchen, California Community Foundation, Pasadena Humane Society, and SoCal Fire Fund, which he described as "organizations on the frontlines providing much-needed resources to our first responders and firefighters, and the people, animals and communities who need it most."

The Saturday Night Live alum confirmed on Jan. 14 that his Pacific Palisades home had been damaged by the fire.
"It doesn’t seem real," he told local news station KTLA5, while visiting the charred remains of his neighborhood. "I'm in shock. It’s just gone. Everything."

"Obviously, it’s kind of devastating. It’s emotional," the 69-year-old said. “You live there for a long time, and you had all your stuff. I had my stuff there, and it’s all like, I’ve been relieved from the burden of my stuff, because it’s all in cinders.”
But when he returned home to discover that his home had been destroyed, he was relieved to find that, at least, his chickens survived, adding, “It was amazing.”

"We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss," she wrote on Instagram Jan. 9. "Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It’s not livable but mostly intact."
However, she noted that the home studio, garage and back house were destroyed in the Eaton Fire.
"Every house on our street is gone. My in laws. My brother and sister in law- 6 weeks from welcoming their first baby. Our best friends," she added. "Feeling weird survivors guilt. We love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support."
