Over the years, some of the biggest A-Listers in Hollywood turned up as guest stars on the legendary television show "Friends."
Over the years, the legendary television show âFriendsâ had many famous celebrities show up as guest stars.
In fact, some of Hollywoodâs most beloved actresses and actors, from Brad Pitt to Julia Roberts, made appearances on the show. A-listers played characters who ranged from dates for the main characters to their family members.
Here are some of the most memorable guest appearances by A-Listers on âFriends.â
According to Backstage, Reese Witherspoon was among the A-listers who guest starred on âFriends.â She played Rachelâs sister Jill Green for two episodes during Season 6. She tried to date Ross, according to Backstage.
For a time, Pitt was married to âFriendsâ star Jennifer Aniston. But what some people might not remember is that he also guest-starred on the show. According to Backstage, he played Will Colbert, an old high school friend of Ross, Monica, and Rachel, who was part of an âI Hate Rachel Green Clubâ in school.
According to Backstage, movie star Julie Roberts also made a guest appearance. She played Susie Moss during a Season 2 episode, a former classmate of Chandlerâs who âasks him to put on her panties.â Jean Claude Van Damme also makes a guest appearance on the same episode, Backstage reports.
Tom Selleck also took a turn as a guest star on âFriends.â According to Variety, he played an ophthalmologist named Dr. Richard Burke who showed an interest in Monica.
Applegate appeared as Rachel Greenâs other sister during the show, according to Variety. Scenes show the over-critical Amy character butting heads with Rachel.
At that time, Clooney and Wylie were known as doctors on another television show, âER.â
According to Variety, they appeared on âFriendsâ together as doctors who go on a double date with Rachel and Monica, who fight over which doctor they want.
According to Soap Central, Charlie Sheen appeared on a single episode during Season 2 as Phoebeâs date from the Navy.
