George Kittle Jokes Travis Kelce Should Yell at Andy Reid Again to Win Super Bowl: ‘Worked Last Year’ (Exclusive)
Speaking to PEOPLE at the SiriusXM set at Media Row in New Orleans, George Kittle joked about how Travis Kelce and Andy Reid can make Super Bowl history this weekend.

George Kittle has an idea for how Travis Kelce and Andy Reid can make Super Bowl history this weekend.
The 31-year-old San Francisco 49ers tight end spoke to PEOPLE at the SiriusXM set at Media Row in New Orleans on Thursday, Feb. 6, where he was happy to offer up some advice to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, and his coach, 66.
When asked if there was anything Kittle could whisper in Kelce’s ear ahead of the big game, the 49ers star had a bit of fun with his response.

“Well then it’s like, do I wanna say something to piss him off, to then trigger something? Or to hype him up?” the Little Caesars spokesperson, who was decked out in the brand’s gear from head to toe, joked.

He continued, “‘Cause I’ve gotten to know Travis over my eight-year career. He doesn’t really need a lot to get inspired or anything like that. He’s got the switch that flips.”
After thinking more about the question, he was finally ready to share his answer.
“Shoot, well I remember last year in the Super Bowl, there was a famous photo of him yelling at Andy Reid, and I would just say do that again,” Kittle tells PEOPLE. “‘Cause it obviously works for them.”

The viral moment Kittle was referring to was during the 2024 Super Bowl, when the Chiefs took on the 49ers and the Chiefs missed out on scoring after a player fumbled.
About a week later, Kelce apologized for his actions during an episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast.

When Jason, 37, told his younger brother he “crossed the line.” Travis agreed.
"I did. I can’t get that fired up to the point where I’m bumping Coach and it’s getting him off balance and stuff. When he stumbled I was like, ‘Oh s---,’ in my head," he added.
However, Kittle did praise the Chiefs' two star athletes, shedding light on what works for Travis and Patrick Mahomes, 29.

“Well Patrick and Travis, their chemistry and freedom in their offense, doing whatever defense tells them to do, it’s very unique and there’s not really no one else that does it,” Kittle tells PEOPLE.
He mentioned that the Patriots came close during Tom Brady’s days with the team, “but there hasn’t been a 6-foot-6 tight end that’s done that before, and so it’s a pretty cool relationship they have.”
