GINO D'Acampo has been hit with fresh claims of "inappropriate and intimidating" behaviour as "over 40 people" come forward.

ITV has cut all ties with the tv chef, 48, and "has no plans to work with him" again after an ITV News investigation revealed allegations of sexually inappropriate comments.

The dad-of-three has been sacked while the broadcaster dropped two episodes of Gino's Italy: Secrets of the South this weekend and axed Family Fortunes, which Gino hosts.

Dozens of allegations have been made against the TV chef, spanning over 14 years - and ITV News has seen evidence at least one production company was aware of concerns made by crew.

ITV's Sejal Karia said on Friday night: "More people have today come forward with further allegations about Mr. D'Acampo.

"It means that we've now spoken to more than 40 people who say they either witnessed or experienced alleged inappropriate and intimidating behaviour by the celebrity chef.

"We have also spoken to several people who say they had a positive experience with Mr. D'Acampo."

D'Acampo says he "firmly denied" all allegations made against him.

One woman who made claims against the TV personality, who has been given the name Hannah for her protection, told ITV News: "It is all very disappointing, he could have come out and said he was really sorry, that he was going to take some time out and reflect on what had happened and what he's been accused of.

"But what he should have said initially that he was sorry that he has hurt all these people. It is classic bully behaviour."

Another woman, who worked with the TV chef on a project in 2018, said in a statement coming forward "took a lot of courage".

She called D'Acampo's denial "disappointing" and called on the production company to "remind Gino" and "jog his memory".

Gino D’Acampo’s horrifying x-rated comment to Ferne Cotton live on TV resurfaces and fans ask ‘how was that allowed’

In response to all allegations, D'Acampo said: "I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago.

"I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone.

"This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.

"Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately."

This comes as ITV has scrapped episodes of Gino's Italy: Secrets of the South originally meant to air between 6pm and 7pm on Sunday on ITVBe.

It has been replaced by Abbey Clancy: Celebrity Homes.

Family Fortunes, which D'Acampo hosts, has also been axed.

ITV News reports episodes of the game show that were filmed in 2023 will not be broadcast - and there is nothing else in the pipeline for him.

Gino claims

One woman claimed Gino told her he would "like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter" in 2011. Another woman alleged he opened the door only wearing his boxer shorts and said "Oh, don't worry, it's only small" which pointing towards his penis. In 2018 while on set for the filming of Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip, Gino allegedly said he "felt like f******" one morning. The same year Gino is alleged to have made a comment about another young female colleague who claimed he said: "Shouldn’t we be talking about her t***, they’re perfect, they’re like a mouthful." Another alleged he told a young staff member: "When are we all going to get drunk and have sex together." A woman told ITV she saw Gino appearing to threaten a young colleague over an ice cream in 2019, he allegedly said "if you don’t get me a Cornetto I will f*** your girlfriend". In 2022 an internal investigation into Gino was launched at production company Betty TV in relation to alleged inappropriate behaviour and language on the set of Gino’s Italy – Like Mamma Used to Make. The production company Objective Media Group said in an email seen by ITV in 2024 that issues also arose in 2023 on the Emission Impossible set.

"Most recently Gino D'Acampo has been the host of one of ITV's longest-running gameshows Family Fortunes," ITV News states.

"But ITV News understands the series, filmed in 2023, is not currently scheduled for broadcast and ITV has no plans to work with D'Acampo."

D'Acampo has firmly denied all allegations but a woman who worked with him told the Daily Mail: “Gino said and did whatever he wanted.”

There have been claims he "flicked" his genitals in front of one accuser, told another he would like to have sex "against the kitchen counter" and made threats to a runner if he didn't get him a Cornetto.

One woman, who has been called Hannah to protect her identity, told ITV News Correspondent Sejal Karia the TV chef made inappropriate sexual comments to her on a job in 2011.

She alleged he told her he would "like to turn me over and f*** me up the a*** against the kitchen counter".

This comes as....

Today Gino was blasted by fans as he continued to post on social media as normal.

He posted a clip of his childhood sweetheart, Jessica Stellina Morrison, chatting with Fred Sirieix during a night out.

But it wasn't long before she realised it wasn't her husband, bursting into fits of laughter.

Gino quipped in his caption: "When the Wife chooses the wrong foreigner! GDx.”

But his followers were quick to call him out.

One commented: "Is this Gino actively ignoring what's on ITV news right now....”

However others jumped to the presenter’s defence.

One hit back: "Can’t stand this continuous cancel culture. If you were so hurt by a comment why wait 14 yrs to mention it. Arghhhh this world has gone mad. Still love ya Gino."

Someone else said: "I love Gino he’s just a joker honestly getting ridiculous.”

Gino's response in full

In a statement to ITV News, Gino D'Acampo said: “I have been told by ITN news that allegations have been made about me acting inappropriately, some dating back over ten years ago.

"I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied. I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone.

"This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me.

"Not only have these allegations never been raised with me before, I have been repeatedly supported by executives at the highest level and was commissioned on prime-time programmes during the period in which it is now suggested I was acting inappropriately.

"I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of.

"I take such matters extremely seriously and the suggestion that I have acted in an improper way against is deeply upsetting."

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) called the claims "deeply concerning".

Head of Bectu Philippa Childs called the accusations against D'Acampo "very serious, as is the significant time period they span" in a statement on Friday.

"That at least one production company was reportedly aware of crew's concerns about his behaviour but continued to work with him should be of particular concern, and it is imperative that ITV investigates this," she added.

Ms Childs also said "in a sector where power imbalances can be particularly extreme, it's critical that people feel empowered to come forward with concerns, without fear that their careers will be adversely impacted", and called for a "radical step-change" in the industry.

An ITV spokesperson said its production companies "have the primary responsibility for the duty of care of everyone they work with, both on and off screen, when making shows".

The spokesperson also said the alleged behaviour is "inappropriate and unacceptable" and "most of them were not reported to ITV at the time".

"Where issues have been raised with ITV action has been taken," they added.

MultiStory Media, which produced the ITV show Gino's Italian Express, said it would be "inappropriate to go into the detail of individual concerns" but that it was "reviewing the concerns which have been raised, what was known at the time and what action was taken".

It added that it will "look at any new concerns that have come to light", and have not worked with D'Acampo for six years.

Objective Media Group said it "takes the welfare and wellbeing of all its production staff and teams incredibly seriously" and includes "behavioural clauses in talent contracts" and provides "behavioural training for on-screen talent".

In a statement to ITV News, Studio Ramsay, which produced the show Gino's Italian Family Adventure and co-produced Gordon, Gino And Fred's Road Trip, said it takes "all allegations of inappropriate behaviour and workplace misconduct seriously, promptly investigate, and take appropriate remedial action when warranted".

A DCMS spokeswoman said: "The allegations against Gino D'Acampo are deeply concerning.

"Everybody should be treated with dignity and respect in the workplace.
