Glasgow underpass transformed by vibrant community-inspired mural
A new vibrant mural has been revealed in Govan to transform a previously gloomy Glasgow underpass.
Its transformation was brought about by a project involving various partners, including SWG3, Yardworks, Glasgow City Council, Govan High School, Govan Scouts and Beavers, Gilded Lily Creative Womens Group, Govan residents and Maslow Community Hub.Ursula Kim-Ling Cheng was the artist who produced the mural and she consulted with local community on ideas which highlight what is like to live in the Glasgow district.That led to the new design which highlights the ship-building heritage of Govan,...
