Glastonbury fans convinced 'leaked' 2025 line-up released on social media
Music fans are waiting in anticipation for Glastonbury Festival 2025, but some are convinced the line-up has been leaked.

Some people are claiming that a 'leaked' image of a poster for Glastonbury 2025 line-up has been released - leaving fans in a frenzy on social media.
Shared in a Glastonbury Facebook group, the post claims that The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo will be headlining the event, with other confirmed acts being Neil Young and Sir Rod Stewart. This unverified post has been released after Glastonbury's official Instagram account shared a teaser of the event on Wednesday night.

In the short clip, which was shared with its 905,000 followers, the Glastonbury Festival account teased a phoenix rising from flames. This image is almost identical to the one featured in the background of the 'leaked' line up poster that is circulating social media.
Many fans have taken these posts as a sure sign that the official announcement will appear tomorrow, reports the Mirror. After frenzied ticket dashes back in November for the festival, many fans were left nearly £400 out of pocket. Despite this, fans are still speculating over which acts they will get the chance to see live.

On social media, fans cannot contain their excitement, as one person wrote on X: "Glastonbury line-up rumoured to be coming out 8am tomorrow morning I am NOT gonna get any sleep tonight."
While over on Reddit, there have been a variety of fake line-ups being posted on March 6 at 8:00am. These posters were stamped with a large BBC watermark. While these fake posters include hot acts such as Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Pulp, Doechii, and Biffy Clyro, they are also coming with the odd spelling mistake.
When asked if this was a real line-up, one Reddit user hinted that they may know someone with the inside scoop. They wrote: "Nothing confirmed but I've been told by someone who is likely to know, so I'd be surprised if they're wrong."

The festival is set to return to Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 25 to 29, and at the moment it has been confirmed that Neil Young, 79, will headline while Sir Rod Stewart, 80, will take on the 'legend' stage.
According to other reports, it has been said that organisers have secured Olivia Rodrigo, 22, and the Band The 1975 as the two remaining headliners. It is hoped that these acts will help bring in a younger crowd to complement the older demographic.

"Both The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo are massive names who appeal to a much younger audience, so the hope is that Glastonbury will appeal to the youngsters this year as well as those who might want to see Neil or Rod."
Both Olivia and The 1975 were rumoured to grace the Glastonbury stage in the past years, but this has yet to be true. Current reports say The 1975 will likely perform on the Pyramid Stage on Friday night, while Olivia is anticipated to take the same stage on Sunday evening.
