Gogglebox star details 'traumatic' split from husband and co-star as he admits 'didn't see it coming'

Gogglebox favourite Daniel Lustig has opened up about his split from co-star husband Stephen Webb, who has gone on to feature in other reality shows since the pair left the Channel 4 programme.
Lustig and Webb had been married for six years and together for 11 before they announced their decision to go their separate ways in April last year.
While they stated at the time there would always be "a lot of love" between them, Lustig, 49, has now shared his heartache over the breakup he "didn't see coming".
Fans were surprised when the comical pair revealed they had broken up due to the fact they'd "unfortunately grown apart".
Speaking this week, Lustig reflected: "For me, it was traumatic and although I knew things weren't great, I didn't see it coming."
He went on to admit: "It was awful," labelling it a "very upsetting" and "completely devastating" breakup.

Detailing how the breakdown of their relationship had happened slowly, he continued: "We were completely entwined for so long, with our businesses, the dogs, we were so close in everything we did.
"There was nothing underhand happening, no-one had slept with anyone else," he said on the Suddenly Single podcast.
"Stephen was the complete opposite to me, and we'd say opposites attracted, but fundamentally that was our problem in the end," he noted.
The pair still live together in Brighton, where they are trying to sell their home. They sleep in separate bedrooms and have said they have managed to find a way "to work together, live together and be dog dads".

The hairstylists found fame on the long-running fly-on-the-wall series, which sees families, friends and couples settling in front of the television as their candid responses to the week's shows are captured.
Webb initially joined the series as one of the original cast members in 2013, where he starred alongside his ex partner, Christopher Steed.
Speaking recently himself about re-entering the dating world, Webb confessed he has fears about being "cancelled," pointing out how "people are ready to be offended" in today's world.
Also speaking on Suddenly Single last year, he addressed some of the backlash he faced while on Celebs Go Dating for his approach to dates, citing his "1970s style humour".
It comes after he received a lot of criticism online for his blunt behaviour, and a particular moment that landed him in trouble was when he pretended to fall asleep during one date, who later admitted he'd felt "disrespected".
"I've been out of the dating game for 12 years. Very rusty," Webb remarked. "And I have got a 1970s Benny Hill sense of humour which doesn’t go down well with the under 30s.
